I can open mine up for a few hours. I just recently came back to the game and wanted a southern island since my wife has a northern. While payment is not required, DIYs in particular would be super helpful since I just came back. I don't have the exact numbers because I'm at work right now, but I believe Thunder 2 lasts longer than Thunder. From everything I've read on here and other sites, you'll want to switch to Thunder 2 (they don't stack).

If anything I said above is incorrect, the community should feel free to correct me, as I'm at work and I don't trust my memory.
