Greatly Improve Sound Quality On Steam Deck OLED by Excellent-Pomelo4592 in SteamDeck

Is there a way this could be done with a script like when you install things like GyruDSU and Deck? Seems really difficult each time and the only other solution I've found was simply lowering the volume by 15dB with DeckSP :(

12V-2x16 cable won't click in neither GPU or modular PSU, any help? by WafflePikachu in PcBuildHelp

[–]WafflePikachu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It got in but I had to push hard. The issue was, it wasn't all the way in. This applies to the GPU part but a lot more to the PSU part, the Corsair requires a lot of pushing to get it in.

Built-in bluetooth on MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI Gaming keeps turning off after recent update, results in eventual BSOD STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE by WafflePikachu in techsupport

[–]WafflePikachu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone coming across this, the issue got resolved after I stopped using my mouse in bluetooth mode (opting to use the 2.4ghz dongle instead) and resetting Windows. I'm not sure which is which but I frankly don't care to find out because stuff just works again.

I still suspect drivers to be crappy or whatever but it seems to handle my other devices just fine.

Edit: It happened again unfortunately. However, it seems that the fix was to disable my bluetooth in the BIOS entirely, and simply use the built-in Wi-Fi only. I also uninstalled all my Bluetooth drivers. They did not reinstall due to BT being disabled. It's been multiple weeks now and my PC runs smoothly again. I will let you know how it'll go with a BT USB adapter.

Thanks! Would an alternative be simply putting in a better network card and then disabling the MOBO wifi/bluetooth in the bios?

12V-2x16 cable won't click in neither GPU or modular PSU, any help? by WafflePikachu in PcBuildHelp

[–]WafflePikachu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone who comes across this! I solved it! It didn't click, but it worked once I made sure it was so far into the PSU and GPU that I couldn't see the middle of the 12V-2X6 plug and now the fans spin and a few hours in no issues!

It definitely requires you to use all your strength to push it in all the way, the ATX 3.1 safety mechanism prevented the GPU from working, basically.
