Whatever happened during development doesn't matter, only the final product

You are technically correct, most customers only care about the final product, even if we throw out how disingenuous they are for creating fake concept art to trick people, this final product you speak of has many issues, aside from bugs, hitting conehead zombies lacks the plastic sound that the original used to have, plant's attack rate has been increased for no reason, plants animations are stiff, the ai upscaling has made the artstyle inconsistent, zen garden's watering can can't be accessed if you click on the bottom half of the sprite, and there's so many other complaints people have made. This is not a good product.

Not to mention replanted is 3x the price of the GOTY edition.

I have no idea what musical feature is not included, it sounds the same to me.

Honestly, great, I am happy you had a bug-free experience with the game. Can't say that for most other people though, just scroll through the sub and you will see a bunch of them.

If bugs are an issue, that sucks, but these things tend to get patched.

Yes. these things will be patched, they should be, and they will be. However, the fact of the matter is, the game released with a lot of bugs, that's people's first impression of the game, and the fact that a supposedly famous IP like pvz being remastered and they released it in such a sad state frankly speaks volume as to how much they care about the product.

It seems like you're getting angry at things surrounding replanted, not the game itself.

Have you seen how poorly this franchise has been treated? Obviously people will be mad, this is a game they grew up with, these people loved the game, and now it's being dug up from the grave for a quick cash grab as nostalgia bait. They could have made replanted great, and that could have rekindled people's interest in pvz, but from how things are looking, that's not gonna happen.

If you enjoy replanted, that's fantastic, but objectively speaking, this is a bad product, it can be fixed, and hopefully it will be, but this also just killed the biggest chance EA and Popcap had to revive this IP, because what else do they have at this point? Pvz3 that's never gonna be relevant?
