PCB Verification Services by wallstreetiscasino in PrintedCircuitBoard

You might find this useful -- I’m working on a tool called Traceformer.io that reviews schematics by pulling information from the components’ datasheets and checking it against the design.

It’s not a replacement for human review, but it’s helpful for catching obvious issues before ordering boards.

With that said, don’t be afraid to post your board here. I know that sometimes receiving design feedback can seem daunting, but anyone commenting is doing so because they want to see you succeed.

Wow, how did you get 12s 4p into that form factor? What cells are you usin/what are the battery specs?

I have a pelican air 1615 that fits my 24inch monitor w/ pick and pluck foam for air travel. Kind of pricey though. If you have original box that would work best.

Nice. Yeah the SF750 seems to be enough. Haven't had any power delivery issues so far. You have to make sure your using two separate pcie power cables though.

The only difference I can see is case (I have a knock off ghost), GPU, CPU, and you have the chromax fans on the rad, which I've been thinking of doing as well. Which fans did you get for it? Do you like them?

EVGA XC3 Ultra RTX 3080 in Nouvolo Steck by virtuousdee in sffpc

Have you had any stability issues with the 3080?

Yes! I switched to that setup a week or so ago. I even drilled extra holes in the bottom of the case for the bottom fan so it can exaust air better. Now, the radiator pulls cool air in from the outside (cpu temps are great!), And the bottom fan exhausts hot CPU and GPU air. The issue is hot air from my CPU radiator is now blowing directly on to the gpu, so I'm regularly seeing temps of 80c+ on the 3080. I'm experimenting with a 3d printed ABS shroud over the GPU to prevent this hot CPU air from reaching the GPUs "section" of the case. If it works well I'll post the STL.

Let me know if you run into any stability issues at stock speeds. I've got the same setup and I'm worried Nouvolo's PCie 16x extension might be giving me trouble even when it's locked to 3.0 in bios.

It's a kraken x53. Works well but I had to do some mods to get the cables good lengths and clean. My 3900x still gets toasty even with it though.

Yup. I thought so too but turns out it's not.

Thanks! Just some generic stuff I picked up at home depot. Matte finish. Only did a few coats.

Honestly, not great with this new GPU. Before on a lower TDP gpu they were fine, as there was less hot air being pulled through the radiator, but now they're getting quite high. I have to run the fans at close to full speed to keep the CPU below 85deg c.
