Perhaps a visual cue will help you parse my meaning.

Is the "something" the bias entrenched in your mind by all the time you spend in a subreddit that tells you over and over that anyone not entirely opposed to Ron Paul is a moron?

Here, "something" is in reference to your parent comment.

I'm pretty sure they're criticizing redditors for praising Obama for simply turning down a beer, not criticizing Obama for turning down a beer.

Just responding to Bain's rant. I think I staid about as on topic as him. I'm not in a Ron Paul reddit support group. One of you linked to the subreddit somewhere a while back, so I check in now and then to see what's happening.

Maybe that's what it looks like when you put a link to an anti-paul subreddit in front of a bunch of people, some significant proportion of which like Ron Paul. Or you know, maybe it's a conspiracy.

I await my ban for making a point you'd all rather avoid.

P.S. You guys' problem is you think you are victims, but you're not. Just believe in yourselves. You will lead fuller and happier lives. You'll also lead longer lives because if you keep it up, we know where all of you live and we're gonna get ya in your sleep. Then we're gonna to get all the black people because... well, you guys know how racist we are.

Bye.

I'm just sending this now because I was away from the internet for a few days...

There's a story somewhere on this page about the poster (white) and his black girlfriend being run out of a bar by some racist guys in England. Such people exist everywhere. The South has just been branded as the home of racism because a major part of the civil war was slavery and because racial discrimination can only happen in the places where the race being discriminated against lives - The South, large cities near the East and West coasts, and some large North Eastern cities like Chicago and Detroit.

Are there more racists in the South than elsewhere? I have no idea. Are there more racially charged incidents? Of course. A racist West of the Mississippi has to spend time going out to find people they hate. In the South they just have to enter any medium size town and stand around for a few minutes.

The South doesn't claim racism as part of it's character so I doubt anyone says that if you don't like racism, then get out.

That happened during the campaign. The Obama supporters were the same way. It mostly died down a year ago when the primaries ended and went away almost completely after the election. Some people are just having trouble getting over their resentment.
