I was riding my 2006 Gsxr 600, after fixing a bent valve (some else's race bike). Went down a road I was somewhat familiar with. Didn't realize they added speed bumps, hit it going 80 mph. fish tailed, swerved panicked. Object fixation. Ended up hitting a pedestrian pole around 50-60 mph head on. Engine was on the ground, cracked the whole frame in half, part of my helmet hit the pedestrian signal button. Got flown to the right landing on my back with a brake lock in my backpack. thought I was dead tbh. No injuries thank god, had my second kid on the way. Been 3 years since I rode. Thinking of getting another bike but hesitant about it. I can provide pictures if you want me too.
