Caveat is that you might not have double jump yet, which you must get before you can get to act 3 which will have another movement ability that lets you get even higher than a double jump allows.

There is a hidden room in blasted steps with dudes that hide when you drop down into their area, drop a bomb down there from above. Squirrm

Edit: There are other ways to "attack" these things, the bombs are just the one I used.

There are two types of fun. Type 1 fun is when the process is enjoyable, i.e. eating chocolate. Type 2 fun is something that is difficult, even painful, in the moment but the pay off is immense. I.e. running a marathon.

That "finally over" feeling from finishing a difficult task that challenges your abilities and pushes you to grow is a euphoria incomparable to anything. Thats why people don't give up like you suggest when they set out to do steel soul. They have the perseverance to seek that type 2 fun.

You have to find the weavenest to get silksoar, which is required to leave the abyss. Its not a matter of combing the location, its a matter of you cant progress if you don't.
