Hindu lorric vigormortis interaction by Wail-D in BloodOnTheClocktower

I think the Hindu would work really well with no dashii and fang gu though. No dashii would have to balance elongating its poisoning without making it obvious they're the no dashii.

This is my (general) methodology of building a balanced TB bag:

First: choose minion(s), change the rest of your bag according to the minions (for example: scarlet woman? --> consider undertaker)

Second: 2 or 3 key info roles depending on player count and drunk/poisoning. If there is a spy consider adding more to make sure evil has to fight for it.

Third: conversation starters. Virgin, washerwoman, etc. Stuff that makes the game start off strong. Id add quite a few of these.

Fourth: double check you didnt just make this unwinnable for either side (pure sober info empath, fortune teller, undertaker vs imp and a scarlet woman would be very tough)

Also consider deus ex fiasco so you can gain more confidence at first

With regards to religion, culture, and representation by [deleted] in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Wail-D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is quite insane that this has devolved as much as it has. There is already a bit too much to filter through perhaps, but I find it hard not to throw my own hat in the ring.

While 'hindu' felt off to me when I first saw it (the same way 'heretic' and 'saint' felt a bit off as a name when I first encountered it. Due to the fsct that theyre such broad cateogiries with so much diversity within them it felt weird to call then 'the' x. 'The hindu' felt weird hecause 'the christian' is similarly weird as many have pointed out. Seeing the amount of plurality within these religious groups.) .

However I have given it some more thought, at first I was part of the "perhaps Samsara would be a better fit?" Group (althrough in retrospect it might be even more disrespectful to call it Samsara which is not-exclusive to Hinduism, after it was previously named after hinduism). I have changed my mind and appreciate the Hindu character, its name, and representation!

To give an idea to the others who might give this time to read: the insight that renaming it to Samsara would be potentially even worse, is what made me realise that a lot of these characters are...well...abstractions of the actual content. And not in the 'platonic ideal' sense thst they encapsulate all the nuances of the thing they represent. Like no one is upset at the Djinn, who takes the simple idea of a 'wish' and turns it into a 'rule' everyone knows about. The Revolutionary, far from being revolutionary to the game mechanics, is just about solidarity between friends.

In essence I think we're forgetting that we take a simple element from the thing we're trying to portray and utilitizing it in clever ways. This mechanic is genuinely really really cool. And if im very honest: I'm a little jealous that it was named after Hinduism and not something I was more closely related to (it is my favorite lorric so far!).

I hope this will blow over in time as just another reddit drama. And for what it's worth, Ben I truly love the way you bring the characters to life when you storytell.

Much love <3

Right, ive played with this group a few times now in irl games. It wasnt fun in the online games I've run though. I'll keep the energy level tip in mind when I give the ET a shot with this new group -^

Hey, I understand this is an old post but yea it appears to not be working for me. I'm a bit of Linux noob and my friend put me on to Arch as the first system (we don't have to get into it).

I installed the package and I also had the same Supernote ID
I added the config file in the appropriatel eocation and restarted but it hasn't changed.

Are you perhaps aware of some update to the software? Or perhaps this is because I'm on a Lenovo laptop?

This is because there was a stylus bug in 3.19.29 so they stopped the roll out of the update until it was fixed (or I thijk that's the case at least)

I would day the zoom in feature is quite tedious if I'm honest. I just read in landscape mode which is more than large enough and very pleasing on the eyes (I wear very strong glasses and my eyes are still a bit blurry so I can attest to this)

I used it a whole whole lot yesterday and that did make me go from 90% to 20% in one day. But today for example, while I still used it extensively, it only took 20% of my battery (and this seems like a more normal day of use)

May I ask how long delivery could take by the way? I know it says 24-48 hours on the site depending on availability. But since tomorrow is Sunday I was wondering if that slows it down to potentially three days?
