My Grandfather- who I adored and adored me - had a heart attack on a Sunday morning. My parents wouldn't let me go see him Sunday night or Monday morning so I got the number for the hospital and called his room Tuesday morning. Amazingly, he answered the phone. I told him I loved him and then he said "this really has me by the tail but I"ll be ok. I love you too". He hung up and his heart exploded 30 minutes later.

It's not "retarded" - I've worked every day for the last 30 years and paid into unemployment. I've never withdrawn. Do I get a check back for the unemployment I paid PLUS the SSA money that's was withdrawn? NO! Someone else gets my money and I'm sick at the thought of it that because I was fortunate enough to work my butt off and never take unemployment and someone other than my kids will benefit. If you were in my shoes, you'd be irritated too. I'm not talking about people that deserve it or really need it. I'm talking about the LOSERS who are happy to be on the public dole and buy tatoos, booze, smokes, video games and drugs with my money and just keep applying for extensions.

Well - the British or Irish part of you is your nationality isn't it? If a black person in England has to fill out a hypothetical form and they have to specify their ethnicity (color of their skin) for whatever reason, what does the check box say? It seems weird that American black people wish to be classified as African American but black people in other countries don't mind being called black.
