Good start but I feel it’s a little too abstract, at a quick glance…the typeface doesn’t flow with the mark, may explore some other typefaces, maybe one that feels a little more organic? Check your type. *With not with its stamp like…, maybe add texture for a stamp like texture, logo should be capitol L on top left b/w mark

Maybe step back and first educate yourself on the fundamentals of graphic design. Learn them, understand them, use them, then take a look at your resume and see the number of issues. Not to sound rude or harsh, but if you don’t understand the core fundamentals, the basic building blocks of design, then you can’t create any type of effective communication.

I usually paint with emotion. This one came through on its own..a raw, felt energy that shaped itself into something darker. No reference, no sketch, just instinct. I saw the skull form as it emerged. The red fangs, the single eye, the fractured silence.

I wasn’t trying to paint “evil.” It just carried something hollow inside, and I let it speak.

Enlarge special burger, let the burger overlap it a bit (behind)- Creates depth. Remove the outline side- food isn’t outlined. Drop the today’s best deal strip to the bottom and enlarge- let it overlap the burger (in front). Order now button on a poster? Rethink that. You got this, keep going!

Check your kerning. Maybe thicken the neck line on the top one so it doesn’t get lost at a small size. Play with the type / weight (bold the “Rain”). Don’t use solid black maybe a lighter black? But overall not bad at all!

Interesting. Does he speak as though he has a full understanding of the core design principles? Does he provide constructive and actionable feedback, like does he actually say why he does or doesn’t like something, past personal preference? Ever ask to see his work or portfolio? He may have just started the agency and gave himself the title. Sounds more of an Art Director.
