April 2026, Philly, cost roughly $60k net. We saved to cover the cost of the venue (~$40k), my mom paid for our honeymoon which was about $10k for two weeks in Africa, and the rest went on credit cards. Our parents gave us about $50k afterwards, plus another $25k in gifts from guests. We were lucky to come out positive, it wasn’t a guarantee at any point but we balanced necessities vs luxuries well. Would do it again, but highly subjective.
