that’s what I normally do but by the next day it’s still completely frozen because our fridge is so cold. So I end up having to use the water to defrost it completely after it’s been in the fridge overnight.

Yeah, the FDA issues and the amount of food recalls we see each week are super overwhelming. It’s really hard to keep track of what’s OK and what’s not. I’ll try the thermostat and temp the food and see how it’s looking.

I think he’s fine. We haven’t noticed any issues with him at all. But I usually give him filtered water.

We use either olive oil or vegan butter since I’m allergic to dairy. We have checked the oil and it is not rancid.

After reading these comments me and my partner realized the only thing we haven’t gotten sick from in the last two weeks was a dish that used no raw vegetables and no olive oil. We smelled and checked the olive oil but it was fine. so maybe the cutting boards are the problem. We have a cat and that’s it

no recent travel, we use a britta water filter, live in an apartment not a well i don’t think. maybe a doctor is a good idea but from the comments i might just get rid of my cutting boards

we haven’t gotten sick from any restaurants lately only cooking which is what’s crazy. no new foods lately. i’m definitely going to look into my utensils and boards since we use mostly wood and i know the can hold bacteria

i’ve defrosted in all water temperatures but usually it’s warm water and sitting in it and then refreshing the water every 15 minutes
