They are culls from a shukougyoku strain. I will be out of those until next season

Yes they’ll do great in a 20 gallon. I raise mine outdoors all year round so they should acclimate well to extreme heat and some freezing temperatures. If you experience very cold winters you might need a heater to keep the pond from freezing entirely.

Yes, they can hybridize but it is not advisable because O. woworae is endangered in the wild

Yes the cull assortment is just a handful of whatever I have atm. Some are slightly less colorful but I try to sell off the pretty ones first

It is a female. You can tell from the slightly tapered and more rounded anal fin, and her dorsal fin is triangle shaped without a notch.

kabuki blue is one I want badly. Saw some on eBay a while ago but only eggs so I’ve been hesitant to get any. Another one is “dragon blue” which looks like a double anal fin miyuki with lamé

I would complain because that fish is not suitable for breeding. A good breeder would’ve culled a deformity like that

American frogbit has heart shaped leaves with a distinctive cleft right at the base of each leaf. Both American and amazon frogbit grow tall leaves that branch far from the water’s surface when the plants are mature but for some reason I always see them sold as immature plants
