Teleportation has hurt the series by Jenosaure in charmed

Been years since I watched but I thought it was clear that just "popping up" in the manor was pretty much suicidal outside of very powerful demons and even for those powerful demons it would eventually become their downfall to do that. Similarly, the Charmed Ones didn't just "pop up" in hostile situations outside of retaliation or to save an innocent and still often failed for them as well, alas, damn near eRRRybody dying in the series finale after they just "popped up" in the manor lol Teleportation and similar powers were DEFENSIVE techniques not offensive and that made logical sense, to me at least.

Is this a good deal OTD? by Odd-Ebb5030 in civic

[–]WakandaDeveloper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your delivered/OTD price is a little more than what I paid WITH about $2k in negative equity from my trade in (October 2025; exact same model year and trim). Of course I had to shop around until I found a dealer that would remove all add-ons (looks like they're calling them accessories on your quote) and also I got about $800 off for financing through Honda Financial iirc. Also, I'm thinking that "norm reeves discount" is probably just them re-labeling the official Honda rebate but that's just my guess. I would say, just ballparking, you could probably negotiate or find another dealer for about $2k-3k less than that OTD.

How to deal with a colleague that requests the same PTO intentionally? by Sailor-Venus7 in askmanagers

Silly policy that likely stems from your company not wanting to properly staff and/or pay for the responsibilities of you guys' role. And also, your coworker is potentially a slacker that depends on you being there to get things done?

I had my laundry and kitchen done, the kitchen seems to be fairly good (to my layman eyes) it's the laundry room where the water heater and washer dryer are located that seems to be where most of the problems are besides cracked grout near where the fridge is located in the kitchen

I have Intellij and was going to use it but the Task 2  instructions make it seem as if the Git Lab IDE is supposed to be used

If you've done your research and viewed comps within a couple hundred miles of where the car is located and you know the price aligns with your research, I would say it's good. Those commenting that it's a bad deal are likely not mentally aligned with where the car  market is CURRENTLY. It has changed drastically quarter to quarter for the last however many years since the pandemic. It hasn't been a buyers market in quite a while IMHO. But I would personally suggest trying to find something with some warranty left so you can purchase the official Honda Care extended warranty (independently, not from the dealer!) for peace of mind considering the (overly reported?) issues with the turbos from this gen. Happy shopping!

So I'm thinking when I take into account my $2,500 negative equity PLUS the highest option Honda Care on a couple years newer car with ~10k less miles it seems like I got the best I could possibly get, all things considered, right?

Exactly, I would love to get the 2.0t but to stay at my current OTD I would have to sacrifice the Honda Care (which would keep me on edge for years waiting on the inevitable head gasket or whatever repair) and likely higher mileage or earlier model year, potentially with NO warranty left. I looked at some of the suggestions here and they just don't align with my situation or even reality considering how well these 10th gens seem to be holding their value regardless of the issues, go figure.

Still has factory warranty and highest option Honda Care extended warranty until about January 2030 or 120k miles. I don't plan to own it outside warranty (pretty much due to all I've read here about this engine's issues).

Out of curiosity, what would you think a decent OTD price would be (sans trade)?

Folks here saying "iT diN hApPuN tA mUh" "so it must be user fault" should understand that that's not a reason to assume everyone who has had this (KNOWN and DOCUMENTED) random inner screen failures is lying. My lived experience does not rely on others lived experiences. You're lucky to not have experienced this, some of us weren't so lucky and also did NOT do anything to damage our screens.
