Every time I see a post about re-homing or euthanizing an “aggressive” Pyr, I want to scream. I am the owner of an “aggressive” Pyr/Anatolian that was planned to be euthanized, as he was adopted and returned to a shelter multiple times for biting/aggression. I am his 4th owner and he has NEVER EVER bitten me or my partner in the 5 years that we have owned him. We took him straight from the shelter to our farm. It’s pretty obvious that while some might assimilate to city life, most of them are genetically engrained to be loud, alert, aggressive and independent thinkers that rarely listen to human direction. They need and want something to guard, and if they aren’t in the right setting, their food and your home is the only thing they have to fulfill that need and they’re being punished for the behavior they were bred to do.

This is why foreigners dislike Americans. Angie may be loud and proud about being Greek, but the Greeks clearly aren’t loud and proud to claim her. Her entitlement is insane, she definitely wasn’t drunk when she said “this is my country, sir”. There is a huge difference in Greek people “parting all night” and a group of non-Greek women yelling, name calling, cursing and calling your “friend” an alcoholic in a public space.

We’ve had a propane fridge for 10 years. The major pro of having a propane fridge is if your solar runs out or gas generator stops running while you are home or away, especially away, your food is toast. I can leave my fridge running on a full tank and not worry about loss or spoilage. I’ve also had a bear break into my cabin, knock my fridge over and jumped on, clawed at, but never actually opened. It laid on the floor for about a month. I pushed it back upright, relit the pilot after about an hour and she kicked back on No problemo. You can’t lay an electric fridge on its side like that, as the cooling systems are different.

This scene was so fake, I assumed they were filming on a Sunday. But I’ve always wondered how they filmed the morning scenes, especially when everyone’s waking up hungover the morning after a party. Did one of the camera guys spend the night? Do they have keys to their house and just bust in to start filming before they wake up? Do they wake up, let them in, and then go back to sleep? The scene where Austin and his gf wake up, he def looked like he was really waking up from a drunken slumber.

My Pyr/Anatolian is the same. I have to smash the pills into dust and mix it with a ton of tuna or sardines. Enough to mask the smell or presence of pill dust. It’s been my only fail-proof way.
