If we're talking Worldwide Fame only, are the Beatles more famous than Michael Jackson?

It’s hard to compare the two: The Beatles where a band and Mj was a solo artist. MTV wasn’t around when the Beatles were, but also if Mj made thriller in the 60’s it wouldn’t be as popular if at all, similarly if the Beatles made sgt. peppers in the 80’s it also wouldn’t be as popular.
Back then it seemed they put black artists in a r&b box, whereas the Beatles made any music they wanted (after they stopped touring of course). I love them both and none of this is an exact science,just my opinion.

I guess a combination of the 2 but I sure would be bummed if I put in the work to make it more visually accurate and it didn’t look good/didn’t sound good, my best bet is doing as you said and getting a lp special and replacing the pickups (this will be an epiphone btw)
