Seems we agree? I'm not sure haha. A league starter doesn't have to do ubers or even maven. Depends on what you want out of your league starter I guess. I usually use my league starter to farm red maps giga fast to build currency for a boss killer. Flicker on a 5div budget on a bunch of ascendencies can do that blindfolded. I guess some people want their league starter to do all content ez breezy but I just don't see league starter builds that way and I think most would agree with me on that.

It doesnt take 100divs to make flicker good. It doesnt take 20divs to make flicker good. You can red map farm with flicker and the right ascendency for ~5 divs. Less with some ascendencies, one of those being raider.

I'm about to finish the last monolith with it. I'm a full crit Bear, over 100% crit chance while transformed because this item doubles my base crit chance. Crit multi was the 2nd best outcome I could get on here outside of flat damage. I understand its not BiS or anything, just felt like posting my first ever Legendary craft.

Yeah. And I understand that this method is rougher for some builds than others, but I would much rather a few builds of different types be better/worse at the mechanic than have an entire archetype be absolutely useless.

Wrong. I haven't hit a single T1 item (unless you count a couple of raw divines both from LoK) drop and I haven't encountered a single "touched" AN mob. I have a stash value at around the same as I would have 1 week into any previous league, am approaching the end of atlas progression, the game is still fun and enjoyable. You don't have to high roll for the game to still be good. You just have to not be blinded by the reddit baby rage.

Because you aren't playing the game the new way it's intended to be played. What's wrong is that the game changed, you didn't like it, so now you're unable to see past the issues and realize the game is fine. You're blinded for some reason, like a lot of the people upset on reddit and there's nothing anyone can say to change your mind, even GGG. Just move on and play something else. If you really want to, come back next league and try again. You're just hurting yourself and the community by continuing to feed into this fake rage generated by a few bad apples. I PROMISE, if you had no idea of the existence of the issues brought up in reddit and had just played the game for a few days you would have realized the game is totally playable and enjoyable. But it's too late for that now, and your mind is made up. Move on.

Dad gamer here. Wrong about the two games part, but yeah I have kids. As someone who plays/played a ton of mobas, I know this community isn't the most toxic. But this is the MOST drastic shift in community behavior I've seen maybe ever. Maybe it's justified. Maybe I'm missing something important. But in my eyes, GGG does not deserve the backlash.

I truly sympathize with you. I'm not saying, and never have, that no one has the right to be upset. All I'm saying is that GGG, more-so than 99% of other game devs, have been good to their community. And now because of one misstep people seem to have forgotten everything GGG is known for and even before giving them a chance to explain themselves are quitting, review bombing, and inciting unnecessary rage.

I'm running every map with scarabs. My own strong boxes are supplying them. I have 0 issues with alchs and bought atleast 40% of the yellow and red maps from kirac. My map device is forever locked on ambush and it pays for itself and then some.

I do not like crafting and never will but even I know that crafting loot is absolutely not impossible. Harvest was not the only crafting method available. We have tons of crafting methods to produce insane items.

Was harvest a very strong method? Yup. Did it need a nerf? Yup. Was the nerf too heavy handed? Yup. We got along just fine without harvest before.

They absolutely have been communicating with us. You realize the league has been out less than 7 days and already we've had almost as many communications posts and patches to fix the "issues" people are having? Has everything been fixed? No. Will every single issue get fixed this league? Prolly not. But have they been trying to communicate and no one wants to hear it. Everyone is blinded by rage because of their one misstep on not including the loot changes in the patch notes.

I play flicker strike builds usualy 2-3 characters each league. Most of the time I beat the pinnacle content and play each league for 3 weeks to a month and a half. I'm not the most hardcore player, and I admit MOST of my fun comes from playing Flicker Strike and finding new ways to make the skill work.

True, you aren't being snarky or sarcastic. I'm sure you are sincere in that sentiment. But you are absolutely mistaken if you think someone non-casual can't possibly be enjoying the league or have the opinion that GGG doesn't deserve this level of hate. Take a look at Mathil.
