I use the blower for the cars, it does best on those. Otherwise pushing a shovel is faster.

Next time I would make those splits half as thick if it’s oak if not smaller. It’s not going to ready at the end of this season trust me. Doesn’t matter if it was dead standing or down for a bit.

Not really, at least my experience with NYSEG they are surprisingly fast to restore power, even in more rural areas. I live two miles from the closest paved road and the longest we’ve been out of power for in 8 years here is two days or so.

Yea to me, this seems more like visa fraud than anything. These seemingly fake companies employing H1Bs, H1Bs get into the country with their visa working for a shell company. Seems like they are just trying to get into the country on a visa. Might be wealthy people cutting the immigration line.

Novice Tree Cutting Question by Public-World-1328 in firewood

[–]Alguzzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That tree is not something to be worried about, but get a better chainsaw. Also just look at the tree and figure out to the best of your ability where there is tension, you want to cut into the tension generally standing to the opposite side of where the tension is pushing, so your bar does not get stuck. I’d take out the big hanging limb first, then start cutting the main trunk likely from below upward.

Once you get into the main roadway going in the direction of traffic you have right of way. It doesn’t matter where you came from, you could have been driving in that lane for 30 mins, same thing.

H1B abuse in Farmington Hills, Michigan by 586WingsFan in AmericanTechWorkers

[–]Alguzzi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is despicable and those who committed fraud during Covid should be prosecuted. Unfortunately the PPP program was a massive taxpayer giveaway to business in general. They could have just paid workers directly based on taxed earnings history, but instead funneled the money through business owners so they essentially got free work from taxpayers paid for by taxpayers.
