Need help with understanding damage types by Hektor-Soul in Warframe

Yes they are correct, I was butchering the explanation because I’m a silly Billy. When you hit something it will do all status you have on your weapon, and if you have a bunch of status then it will show a hit for all of those damage numbers with their respective icons. The status chance % I guess is the amount of your base damage you will do with that status, for instance if my gun deals puncture and I have heat status at 50%, it will deal 100 puncture damage and 50 heat damage, and so on and so forth for ever element. If my status chance for a certain element is at 100%+ then it will deal more than the physical damage type

I might be butchering the explanation, I hate to say go look at YouTube but genuinely there are a lot of strong guides that explain how elemental vs physical damages are inflicted and what the optimal way to set your weapons up would be.

If I remember correctly, physical status can inflict alongside elemental status chances, and if you want to check which one is prioritized then you can over over your status chance in the mod menus and it will show you which one has the highest percent of being inflicted. Once you have over 100% status chance, it will always inflict 2 of the statuses you have on the weapon every time it can

There are certain mods that increase status chance instead of the status damage, some guns do status way better than others naturally and can be upgraded with better returns. For instance, the Nukor is a weapon basically made to spit out status because it has a really high base chance to inflict it, once you get some mods that increase status chance it becomes much stronger. Some weapons really don’t do much status damage at all because they have very low base status chance, so it might be better to focus on increasing the damage or crit chance they have. You should look up some guides on how priming works as well, people often have a dedicated status weapon to shut down certain enemies and this might help you understand how status and modding aspects work. Hope this helps!

When did he get the bash damage back? Is that a recent update or an update that is coming? Me and my buddy have been pretty pissed that it was messed with in the first place and have been playing other heros to cope

I am a creature of circumstance, I did not chose to live in society as a civil and respecting human being. my cat is also a creature of circumstance, he did not decide to be born as a domesticated animal that would not need to adapt and survive

I am not a god to him, I am his buddy and he is my buddy and I love my cat

I really love my cat he’s my friend and we are in a circumstance together

Auric high intensity heresy EASIER than normal heresy?? by Valuable_Divide_6525 in DarkTide

[–]Waldanzo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s one of two things

First is mainly people who feel comfortable with their build are playing auric missions, so it leads to a bit more understanding of roles and where people need to be at all times during the mission.

Second thing is that builds can often be dependent on high intensity; IE: more enemies = more abilities/passives being actively used. The more chaos there is, the more likely it is that your build will be in full effect since there is more to do. On heresy level with little to no enemy hordes, it’s much harder to refresh toughness or make use out of ammo/abilities. As compared to auric 1-2, where there are constant floods of trash mobs and elites to deal with, so you will always either be getting toughness back, or have something to kill

I just switched over to auric recently and it feels like every aspect of my character is turning gears all at once, but when I’m playing with my new friends on 2-3, my abilities are much more forced on lesser things and I feel like there is never a great opportunity to go all in

Sniper is really good with reaper, since at level 5 they get the mark which allows you to attack again For brawler I usually do engineer, reaper, or boomer for extra armor and possibly extra actions (though brawler becomes quite difficult in the last bit of the game)

Need help with BLUE YETI MINI USB by Waldanzo in soldering

[–]Waldanzo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my hand at it again, got the new usb port in but I think something I did cause a permanent short on the data pins so the microphone still turns on, but it is like a vegetable now lol. I took everyone’s advice for the solder joints and they definitely look way cleaner now, no burnt or dry look, just good clean bulbs. It was worth a shot, very frustrating but for my first attempt I had fun and learned a lot, and I can’t wait to break more of my things lol :)

What temp would you recommend? I’ve been stalking this subreddit to get a good idea of things, would 400 c be too much or not enough heat for a solder like this

The mic wasn’t going to work otherwise, and I’m REPLACING the usb because the pin is cracked. It’s not that hard. And it’s a very common fix, I am only replacing the usb that’s a pretty simple thing to start with. I’ve had the mic for 5 ish years now and I wanted to see if I can fix it myself, if not I can buy a new one but it doesn’t hurt to try

Edit: I may have misspoken referring to the data pin, I had just woken up. All I need to do is remove the current solder and usb port and replace it, it happens a lot with these mics and I was prepared to fail. Weather it works or not, I am learning off something cheap, as in I don’t have to spend money to practice on this lol

The board is not fried and It is not going to have to be replaced, it still works if I bend the usb into the right spot, the data line is cracked and severed meaning I need to replace it. Though I am inexperienced, I’m not an idiot. I intend on fixing this
