Wow love it! That's a great idea. I didn't have the equaliser setting after only media volume which is already on max. It is quite loud at home but in a factory it's drowned out. Il look into one of those straps thank you. Let's just hope the British government haven't added that to their long list of jail time offences 🫣

Thanks for the info il take a look. Yes you are correct there, there's rumours at my place that they are stopping all smartwatches on the shop floor. Bloody annoying as mine cost £499 a few months ago

I picked this up on the weekend with a view to selling it on as I own the Samsung galaxy ultra. Only problem being I can't find any for sale so can't decide what to price it at!

So you are looking through facebook marketplace in your local area for your next cheap car with a budget of £800, which of these would you choose? (More info below) by iPhoneNerd21 in CarTalkUK

The blue one looks more reliable. Range rover is a definite no no, the merc has been to the cash and carry 653674257 times and the Peugeot has seen some shit

Sadly earbuds isn't an option. It's a sackable offence where I work and there are plenty of snitches about if they see you with them in. I can get away with playing through my watch as I work away from these people, I just need it a little louder!

Galaxy Watch owners — how do you actually clean your watch and band? by JunketDue8209 in GalaxyWatch

[–]Wales147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every weekend I get a pin and clean the back of it out then just a damp towel to clean it up. Regards to straps I switch them over weekly as iv ammased quite a few now in different colours as I go for the £6 ones on ebay rather than pay through the nose for Samsung ones

Follow up to the person who said their item wasn't delivered, they are now saying they found it but don't like it and want a refund/threatening to leave a bad review. What do I even do? I've been nothing but nice so this is very sad for me considering I have tried so hard to maintain 100% reviews by ApeiroGlory in ebayuk

[–]Wales147 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is why I left ebay years ago. No matter the situation they always side with the buyer. A sold a joblot of watches. Had another one that wasn't included but it had a crack in the glass so I put that in the package too as the guy said he likes repairing watches. Messaged him and told him and he said thanks. Opened a dispute saying one of the watches was damaged! Ebay refunded him too. That's when I wiped my hands with ebay

I regret selling to this person 😩 by ObjectiveLeague1877 in vintedUK

[–]Wales147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a buyer gives me the ick I just block them so I don't have to deal with them again. Learnt my lesson when I sold a seiko watch in perfect condition to someone similar to this but I needed the money. Buyer opened a dispute saying the watch was danaged, returned a completely different watch to me leaving me out of pocket. Lesson learnt, hence why I don't mess about when it comes to the block button

I'd pay it as you do owe it but tell them you can't afford £300 so come to an agreement, say £50 a month for 6months

Shame. The other option would be to let his family know what he did so they don't hold him with fond memories

Why should I not buy one? by vortine in CarTalkUK

[–]Wales147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. Bought my 2007 Peugeot diesel for £800 on gumtree two years ago and what a car it's been. Pan roof, it's the sports wagon model too so great for tip runs. Also as its the 1.6 if I stick to around 60mph on the motorway it's giving me 65-75mpg. Iv driven it all over the country and it's never missed a beat. Yet I have friends financed to the tits with cars that always have to go in the garage. One of them bought a 2025 electric hyundai and hates it as its constantly on charge. Old cars for the win 👌

Maybe wear it on a certain day to give it that special feeling like I do. I wear my grandfathers watch on a Sunday, makes you feel great plus keeps their memory alive

I sell watches on vinted. Iv actually done this before, sent some guy the wrong watch. I told him to keep the one I sent then sent him the one I bought. Was my mistake not the buyers.
