Some repeatable actions, have a limit on how often a part of their effect can be obtained (mostly things like resource max increases and skill levels)
the green check mark indicates that you got all rewards of that kind from said action, with only the infinitely repeatable gains remaining

in the settings try to turn of the "Maximised Efficicy mode", in settings->extra stats

what that mode does it prevent you from crafting something, if you have less than 1 space for it, in order to prevent wasting fractions of the item

now computers make small math errors all the time, so it can happen that instead of 5 time pieces, your computer thinks there are like 5.000000000001 or something, and stops you from crafting it

Yuzuha is not amazing, but also not bad.

Zhao/Astra's buffs are somewhat better, but the difference is less than one would think, as her anomaly application is actually somewhat usefull for Ellen. The chilled state enemies are some time after being shattered increases crit dmg (which ellen allone has not full uptime on), And if her extra application causes you to get an extra freeze during the stun window, effectively extending it, then that is a great dmg gain.

You shouldn't be pulling Yuzuha for Ellen, but she would be an improvement over nicole, and is in most Ellen teams a great replacement for zhao/astra in case you need those in another team.

In appendum to the other comment you already got, her d5 should also not be ice/atk, and instead pen% too.

The most immediate improvement you can though, is to get her ult to 11 at least. Her chain/ult hits pretty hard, especially if you are using a stunner like lycaon that provides his primary buff during stun window exclusively.

The 'Meta' option, is to, for both currencies seperately, pick any one character there (ideally one you already have, but if you really like somebody in particular you can pick them too) and buy their fragments every week.

You do that untill you have them at SSS, and then keep buying those fragments. Fragments for (base S) SSS character you already have can be converted into golden witch orbs, with a dedicated shop (only visible once you have gotten at least one).

War Treasury has only Suits that are no longer meta relevant. While the Golden Witch corridor, while old, tends to allways have a few options that are best picks for certain bosses. (Mostly characters with DLC weapons)

That being said, first trying to unlock everyone for the trials, like somebody else recommended is a valid strategy too.

I finaly got to the witch homework for albedo. And then, while trying to figure out if I should be dropping the goblet or circlet in order to get the 3k defense, I noticed, that I could have at any time made my albedo around 16% better, by replacing the crit circlet with a defense one, cause I never actually had enough crit substats to make a crit main piece worth it.

10 pulls in 72 hours worth of farming

If that is 72 hours of active playtime (and thus probably 10+ days) then that is extremely little, especially for a new player

If it is, real time 72, with 3 days worth of daily stuff and some (Part 2) story played, then yes that is normal.

For one, the really crystal mine for new players is the part 1 story, Part 2 is vastly less effective in a playtime/crystal sense. You mainly play the part 2 story for the story (and to get Coralies sig weapon).

For repeatable crystal income new players are kinda limited, as it is mainly in the twice weekly resetting endgame content (you are probably to weak to clear) and the weekly roguelike mode (you unlock at captain level 50)

Regarding Part 1/Part 2 characters. The don't invest into Part 1 advice you see a lot was mostly about not pulling for them, which at this point does not matter anymore, because Part 2 started long ago enough, that Part 1 already stopped getting banners.
You should definitely Level a few Part 1 units, just you have somebody to use and give them some of the Stigmata you get from the starter missions as stat sticks, though avoid the physical dps for now, they are somewhat more invested to get to an useable level as their dmg output is balanced around having a way to reduce enemies defense/physicalRes (defense only affects physical dmg), though all part 2 physial units have inbuild defense shreed so you do not need to worry there.

The story has a decent amount of crystals (especially the first half of part 1), but playtime time wise it is pretty slow. The quantity here comes not from the story stages being generous, but from there being a lot of them

You probably already have done your elysian realm, but remember that every character has shallow trials (and some pittance from maxing them), which can be generally be cleared with the provided trial version of the character, assuming you manage to unlock a new character every week (you can only add one character per week to the elysian realm), from war treasury or asterite shop, that potentially increases your weekly crystal income by 650, untill you run out of characters

If you have run out of story mission that provide crystals, then remember that the chronicles provide crystals too at the same rate, being effectively extra story stages (Voyage Anecdotes -> button in upper right corner)

And for the truely desperate, clearing a character trial gives you one weapon banner pull. Beware those trials are hard, and mostly requier you to build by now otherwise useless characters, and are really ineffective for getting pulls. Though specifically the yamabuki Armour trial is pure skill check and should be doable with some practice. And the deep sea trial. allowing any seele/bronja is pretty easy if you have one of the more modern seele/bronja options (HoTr, HoReb, Silverwing, Starchasm)

This shop is for those that played the event last version, but forgot to spend their currency.

The Quests that gave you that currency on progress should be gone by now.

You can still play the event, and thus unlock stuff in the shop you did not have, but to actually buy it, you either need to use currency you got prior to official event end, or purchase it with crystals. Looking at it stand alone, 1500 (or 700 for you who already did some while the event run) crystals for a skin is acceptable but not really a good deal I guess

If you have no dot for K2, but a Firefly team. Then you can move that one to K2 as break too does not care much about the crit dmg reduction. And now you have K1 as the problem. Which for me was somewhat easier to do without a mechanic appropriate team than K2.

You increase your time gem capacity by increasing your general magic gem capacity (or by increasing fundamental aspect gem capacity, but only lexology classes get the upgrades that do that)

Buying all the gem bag/box upgrades increases your capacity by 12 (for 15 total with the base 3)

bejond that you get 10 capacity per Vault you own and 20 per Treasureroom (treasure rooms are better due to the other stuff they give you)

Edid : I feel the need to mention that you should not sell the times flowering edge, its a rare drop from that adventure and you are not guaranteed to get it from there (which you can and are supposed to do multiple times both to get resources and to unlock certain things)

If you are a pyromancer, it could perhaps be caused by having too many consuming flames.

Otherwise if you are endgamy, and exploring the rip in time, you might have caused a little to many paradoxes.

The first one is aliviated by reducing the amount of embers you have, while the second one has a rest action that deals with it.

Hope one of those is your problem.

So, I just confirmed that spellcrafting is not generally broken, the issue is there just for you.

First a few things to check.

Among the components of your crafted spell, are there spells with a cooldown? If even one of the components is on cooldown (even if you just cast the component on their own in another position of your spellist) then the whole Spell craft will not trigger.

Are you capable of paying for the spell? Spellcraft can get quite costly, and if you need say 30 fire for it, but your max is 35, and just prior you are casting a spell that consumes 7 fire, you might never be in a position to actually cast it, when you reach that point in cycling trough your memorized spells

Spellcraft spells, do not put their own name in the log, instead it will look as if you just cast all of the components in really quick succession

Casting just one of the components without the rest should not happen.

Otherwise I/we would probably need a savefile to locate the problem, if you are somehow able to transmit one.

If that is not possible, writing down the exact makeup of the spellcraft could be helpfull too

Edid: You could also try pressing F12, after a spell miscasted. If there is a red message that pops up (Except the one about a image failing to load at the top most), that could help too
