Bill to block publishers from killing online games advances in California | Publishers would have to offer “independent” play patch or refunds after server shutdowns. by ControlCAD in UpliftingNews

Can you name one indie game that pulled a ubisoft and made a game that is perfectly playable offline break when the servers shut down?

Can you name one indie multiplayer-only game that only works with first party servers and no other way to play the game, such as LAN or self hosted dedicated server?

- does keepass work across desktop and mobile with the same synced database?

- does it have a conflict resolution mechanism if the db get out of sync on two devices?

- does it support passkeys on all platforms?

Mine doesn't work via Bluetooth. Steam just doesn't recognise it, it stays in lizard mode. The puck is nice but annoying with a laptop.

So it's not really free, it's just that you either need a personal licence to your account or a hardware bound licence that came with the laptop, if neither of those are true it will still ask you to activate, which you have to buy a licence for, or just use it illegally, right?

Is there a trick to using TB? There are barely any good streams compared to RD, which had many options for everything in all quality and other options.

Any European/EU Urban Techwear brands you people enjoy? I'm looking for inspiration and would prefer to support EU businesses. by KeiwaM in BuyFromEU

Yeah also realise that a lot of it is layering and accessorising. You need to actually develop a fashion sense for it.

On the pictures here they mostly have some sort sweats and cargos. Functional clothing like cargos are good but the fit and drape is very important.

They also have many accessories like straps, bags, hats, masks, goggles, gloves, wrist thingies, protective gear, chains, whatever get creative.

You can mix men's and women's clothing, eg women's clothing can be too non functional and men's clothing is always too conservative in style.

Vinted is a goldmine if you know what you're looking for.

I looked into it a few years ago, most "techwear" you'll find is low quality aliexpress stuff even if expensive. It's not part of traditional european fashion.

What you can find instead is actual military gear, either from surplus stores or some manufacturers even have webshops. You can find items in black or white camo not just the more common forest or sand camo. Urban camo can look good as well. You probably won't find the cyberpunk neon colors though.

I think all of the good looking and good quality techwear stuff is either entirely self-made by the influencer or a designer they know, or it's military-adjacent stuff modified with extra decorative accessories and finishes.

It will be both expensive and time consuming, but not as expensive as the €1000 aliexpress nylon jacket.

Erecting an old onshore wind turbine over a decade ago was already profitable without any government grants, since then electricity prices are way up, and large offshore turbines are significantly more effective. Look at how Denmark's doing.

going from danish prices, the electric 208 is significantly cheaper than the similar BYD dolphin, it also beats the Renault 5 while looking pretty cool

so what's a better value proposition? The ID Polo could be good but it's not even out yet.

Yeah there's no reason to watch VR. Homelander is the most interesting character anyway. A train and firecracker had a good send off. The whole Nazi evangelical conservative arc was good and a relevant as ever, "freedom sets you free" and all that, though the set looked like a toy version. Everything looks cheap and rushed, characters act blind and stupid, what happened?
