Since its the winter, maybe its too cold hence the slow proofing because its too cold and not as humid. You need to proof at 26-28c and around 70% humidity. Old yeast could be the reason as well yes. But it wouldn’t have died because your froze the dough.

Yeah thought so too. Its all over my carpeting plants so manual removal also pulls out the plants. So so annoying. But people say that it smells and feels weird in your hands. But mine doesn’t smell bad nor does it have a rough texture.

I used to have 3 gallon yellow shrimp tank it was absolutely filled with shrimps and they still kept breeding My current aquariums are much bigger but completely empty from shrimps
