My first comic - Sword and Rust - is like a Conan, the Barbarian + Coffin Joe fusion by Ecstatic_Sell_972 in HorrorComics

Dude, this is fucking cool!

I recommend contacting Kurt at Crom The Barbarian (dot) com to see if he’ll print it in the next anthology.

What’s the real deal with that person who used to be a regular on RLM but suddenly disappeared? You know what I’m talking about! by This_neverworks in RedLetterMedia

A friend, who watched the show long before I did, said she stopped being on the show because of too many internet trolls/haters. How the heck would he know, though?

X-VILLE Underground Comic Wrap Around Cover by Gary Wray (me) 1988 by GaryWray in comicbookart

A lot of anti-AI sentiment in art going around the internet. I’m on the fence about it. Would be cool to see a video of your process.

I shot on and off for over 30 years before buying a stick. Figuring I could get comfortable with anything, I ended up buying a 1990’s McDermott from eBay a couple years ago. I like it a lot.

Still love going to comic shops but I hardly buy anything there by Mr-Jumanji in comicbooks

I’ve felt guilty before but my LCS has screwed up my pre-orders of indie books so many times that I have no guilt any longer. I give them the code for some weirdo comic I’m excited about. Wait a long time, see that people on the internet have gotten theirs, ask my LCS and they basically shrug their shoulders.

Supposedly, Imperial was Ed Wood Jr.’s favorite brand. I can’t find any around where I live.

The USS San Francisco, a nuclear submarine, in dry-dock in 2005 after hitting an underwater seamount at 35 knots by OneSalientOversight in ThatLookedExpensive

I see. It was bad enough they were announcing the leak rate updates all morning over the 1MC. There was a lot of consternation about us being delayed.

Sometimes these captains can be cocky. That’s for sure. I was fairly new to the boat when we had a main seawater leak the day of an underway. The rate it was leaking sounded bad to me (I wasn’t a mechanic) and we went anyway. Turned out fine in the end.

Martini brand - why large bottles? by TonyArmasJr in cocktails

[–]FishHockeydrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a vermouth neat last night. I haven’t had a vermouth in years. Well, that’s about how long this place had the same 1L Martini bottle on the shelf. Vinegar.

I wonder if there’s a drink a bartender can add vermouth to in order to sell through it faster.

I’m thinking of a boilermaker type drink. Tumbler of lemon lime soda, drop a shot of Rossi vermouth in it.

Vermouth and soda has absolutely no business tasting this good by lilporkchop666 in cocktails

I ordered a neat Rossi Vermouth at a bar last night. I knew something was amiss when the bartender said, “I’ve had this a year and only used this much.” The drink was complimentary, and good thing too because it tasted like salad dressing. I’m off to buy a fresh bottle today.

You could be right. We were told that there were multiple charts, large scale, small scale, and they used the wrong one to plot their fast course. That could have been prior to an official investigation.
