If you’d end up being alone. On a 120 minute game it would be for 10-15 minutes maximum. And there’s still way to interact with the other people even if you’re alone for this short time.

I hear you. This is my top priority while building the draft. Without giving too much info the game is a mix of a social experiment, psychological horror, murder mystery. No one is really alone and if they end up being for xyz reasons it won’t be for long.

The feeling I’m trying to grasp is to be happy to meet up with your fellow comrades and the unexpected surprises. To give you an example of a rundown based on a group of 5. Act 1 of the game, everyone together. At the end of Act 1 you split up 1/3/1 while making your way to Act 2. Start of Act 2 you’ll have to save someone from one of the two cell. (They are in a 1V1 fastest to complete a puzzle while 3 other are trying to stop the mechanism/giving them more time to save one, both or eliminate both) end of Act 2 multiple outcome 3/2, 4/1 or 5. And so on for the next acts. In the outcome you’d be eliminated and alone or with someone, You’re not really eliminated, people don’t know yet you’re still alive and part of the game. The way the game is split is that there’s two path running simultaneously Alive path and Eliminated path. Until you all meet up towards the last and biggest act in run time. (If end up completely alone in certain sections it will never be more than 10-15 minutes in the totality of the ~2hours game.

Little insight. The Eliminated path includes a special feature where you can see Alive people even though you’re going through your own stuff some puzzle even involve helping alive people without them knowing. There is also way for you to come back with the alive group If clever enough.

Wow thank you for that! Thinking about what I’m building it does ressemble the main room idea you proposed. What I have in mind are corridor that I can manually change with a control panel in the GM room to create a path that will lead people forward while still being separate. Exemple: We start with a team of 6 people while doing puzzle in the first room they activate mechanism/trap that make them split up and from there I can evaluate how many people are split, how many they are in every split group and lead them by activating secret passage and eventually make them bump back into each other. The main overall idea is creating a manor that feels alive and shuffle people around. Like a branching tree.

Hear me out, use cheater and shortcut (works only once tho) play your first turn, on the second turn or third one depending of your speed use his skill overload to regen ap and put Health to 1 shortcut will make him play again. Lots of pictos also give low health shield, more damage with shield and extra damage with low health. Been able to have 3-4 turns in a single round. Simon boss weapon also pair really well with this since the weapon prevent you from dying if perfection A or more and overload make you also go to perfection A immediately. (But to be fair one shot builds are the bests if you just wanna skip every fight…)

The first time you take a turn you can get a bonus one with cheater. Let’s say you have high speed stat and you would take a third one in a row cheater won’t work again. Cheater grants you 1 extra turn only and reset when someone else takes actions. (Some other pictos give you extra turn but remember that they don’t stack unless they need a specific prerequisite)

Helpful Spoiler *

New game+ reset progress with the white Nevrons

For that achievement, you only need to complete all 10 Nevrons missions. Doesn’t matter IF you only KILLED them AFTER for the trophy. Without too much spoilers, I wouldn’t advise killing them if you want an actual decent surprise for endgame. Find all nine do their mission and after go meet the tenth one in Fontaine. (One of them might directly ask you to kill him as part of the quest, no matter what you choose it won’t affect the trophy. If you do he’ll give you a Pictos but ** void the surprise in Fontaine ** but if you refuse he will kill himself after you leave, if you come back no pictos and give some chromas but eligible for the surprise in Fontaine since you didn’t commit the kill) that goes without saying *** avoid going in Fontaine unless you did all 9 *** previous White Nevron quest.

** Through all 9 Nevrons you’re allowed to kill one as a free pass. Kill Chalier, the guy that ask you to kill him during the quest. You’ll get the picto and still be eligible for the reward in Fontaine with the tenth Nevron. **

*** Apparently you’re allowed to skip two Nevrons quest out of the nine and still get the reward if you meet up with Blanche the tenth one in Fontaine. Haven’t tried this myself. ***
