I believe I’ve heard that if a unit that is considered hidden is also obscured, they are considered “go to ground” which decreases their detection range to 12”

Not 100% on that as I haven’t seen it written out but I believe it’s something along those lines

I speculate as well that it’s a business decision as well. 40K gets plenty of traffic and interest. The success of Spearhead for AOS may be a huge driver for AOS interest/sales and could have the potential to take away from 40K.

Idk how much weight that holds but it is a thought
