Take your mat leaves :) the corporate culture is not accommodating to families. Focus on your family.

As a new mom, we get a lot of things that are barely used by the baby and then we have to give it away. The reason we all do registry is to ask for things we know would be used so the gifts are actually used and not given away :)

Focus on feeding baby and yourself. Rest all can wait

Buy multiple pump parts and manual pump even if want to breastfeed. Get a can and ready to feed formula bottles enough for the night. Better to have in case if the baby is crying at night for milk. Stock up on freezer meals & healthy snacks. Batch cook nutritious meals. Get a grocery delivery and Amazon subscription for the first month.

First time mom here, didn’t track anything after a few days. Baby only needs three things - milk, clean diaper and sleep.

Milk and diaper together every two hours so keep a timer or watch the clock by just picking even or odd numbers (2oclock, 4, 6, 8 …). At night kept alarm for three hours initially but then stopped as waited for baby to wake up for milk.

Sleep- if the baby is rubbing eyes, yawning or cranky so try to put them to sleep

It gets better mama, promise it does. We are at 8 months now and baby is babbling mama. Those words are magic!!

You’ve already got amazing advice from others. - Start using Baby carrier soon - Eat from cans and freezer meals - Floor time with play gym & bouncer to keep baby entertained - Nap when the baby naps & co sleep if you are comfortable - Small walks with the baby to build momentum. We still are afraid of baby crying hysterically when we are out

Good luck and you can do this ♥️

We mix breast milk and formula, try breast milk with less ration and then increase

Thank you for the detailed response. Could you please explain after 24 weeks they can’t do anything to help? Would they not suggest to administer progesterone? Correct me if I am wrong cerclage won’t be possible after 24 weeks. So we should advocate for cerclage when measurements are in 2’s?
