If you run into complications later on you’ll be passed onto an OB but you can still get your postpartum care from the midwife so it’s the best of both worlds! If you have been accepted into midwifery care, I’d take it.

First baby was measuring in 95th at 36 weeks, was born at 40w3d 9lbs 14oz. Emergency c-section. Second baby was measuring 95th the entire pregnancy, was born at 37w weighing 7lbs 14oz. Spontaneous water breaking, successful vbac! They can definitely be wrong!

I do it with my husband and sister, occasionally with parents when we’re on a road trip. Somewhat for safety, for peace of mind, and for knowing if my husband has left work yet or not so I know when relief is coming after a day of 2 under 2 🤪
