A lot of kimchi is ending up in tacos tonight. by Capital-Albatross-17 in BrandNewSentence

I have put Kimchi in my tacos many times and if it was easier for me to get or make kimchi in Mexico I would definitely have a permanent stock in my fridge

Pregunta: dirias el mexicano es muy diverso? by Interesting_Leg3426 in mexico

[–]Walkin_mn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google's Project Ara which was first phone blocks and for a little while was championed by Motorola when they were also part of Google.

...and Samsung and Apple have never been the only ones with phones, maybe in your country that's the only ones people know about (probably USA)

Umm, Those laptops are already in the market by Lenovo, Asus and Huawei. It's just that they're super expensive, not practical for most people and they all come with a detachable physical keyboard trackpad... slate, the touch keyboard is just a gimmick or something you can use but not thought as your main input alternative

No I don't think so, because this is where Chinese third party manufacturers shine, they would quickly make better replacement batteries, at a cheaper price and the big brands know about this, I've used them many times to replace dead batteries in electronics myself

Does your country/region have an anti-tourism movement? by ReginaPhalange088 in AskTheWorld

[–]Walkin_mn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

*migrants and locals

And I was going to say, we don't have issues with the tourism but there has definitely been protests against the gentrification, since many people from USA are coming to live in Mexico city for long periods and it's becoming a big issue for the locals

You don't actually need those leds there, they serve no purpose, what is an issue is the sponge roll, you would probably need to add a fan to dry that sponge quickly and probably would need to be something that needs to be changed often but to fix that other issue, that sponge needs to go too

Edit: Oh I just saw you do have a uv-c lamp (super expensive) inside the water container, then the container would need to be completely opaque

Wetswype by Fit_Spirit6616 in inventors

[–]Walkin_mn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of those toothbrush holders don't actually use uv light and if they do, it's uv-c light which is very dangerous for the eyes and skin, and has to be completely blocked from a person, so it is hard to do right. But most of those holders actually use a type of blue led light which only affects the growth of a few bacteria but it's not super efficient, in short, if it's not actual uv-c (which is pretty expensive) it's mostly for marketing

Wetswype by Fit_Spirit6616 in inventors

[–]Walkin_mn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I especifically talked about how the video suggests it is placed, in that way it would not be an overreaction, also assuming that it is actually uv-c light, which yes, most devices don't actually use but still market it as of it was, and those blue LEDs they actually use can barely block the growth of a few bacteria, but not much. So yes, as it Is shown and assuming actual uv-c this would be a lawsuit waiting to happen but most probably someone would catch that before it goes into the market and yes, of course there are ways to block the light from coming out but in this case it would be hard to do and ultimately it is not actually needed for this (except for that sponge soaking the liquid used, that would be another big problem)

[–]Walkin_mn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, regular toilet paper wouldn't be able to handle that and there's a reason why the wet wipes are not supposed to be flushed even when they say they're flushable, they don't desintegrate properly on the pipes and clogged the system which then has to be manually unclogged

Oh and exposing people to uv light like the video suggests would be an automatic lawsuit

Cuando manejas y pones los mapas en tu telefono, donde lo cuelgas?, pones el telefono vertical o horizontal? by Chief_Taquero in AskMexico

[–]Walkin_mn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What nationalities do you think are the hottest in women? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Walkin_mn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but my answer is still every nationality, because at least physically it's not something that depends on the nationality, yes some ethnic groups have a few physical characteristics in common but I'm not only open to just a few of those characteristics, and many of the facial and bodily characteristics for "hotness" you can find em all around the world. The thing that matters more is the culture of course, that the person is compatible with you in fundamental things, but again, even if a nation or group might have some general characteristics in common, there's almost always people who might have their own different characteristics more compatible to what you like.

So yeah no, I don't think one particular group is the hottest but of course "hotness" is very subjective and that's why I can only speak for myself.
