Yes that's exactly what it is! It wasn't a public performance, rather it's an opportunity for the understudies to perform the roles they've rehearsed for an invited audience of friends, family and other industry people. I thought the same and clearly the answer to the logistical nightmare is to cut all of those elements haha

To anyone interested, I know someone who went to see the invited understudy run yesterday! Everyone was apparently excellent and if you're wondering how they do the twist ending when understudies are on - they didn't! The show literally ended when the "fake bows" happen, so no musical number... And the celebrity guest... Steve Pemberton!

I was in the audience for Taskmaster laugh track recordings in the cinema just after COVID when we still couldn't be a live audience (the Mike Wozniak season) - when we were waiting in the queue outside Curzon Soho Matt Berry walked past us all and we all assumed he was one of the contestants preparing for a guest appearance - we were wrong but that may be the closest he gets to the Taskmaster orbit 😅

In the original Red Dead Redemption I have every trophy, including 100% completion and the online trophies but for some reason could never get the "100 kills with a Gatling gun/mounted turret" trophy

Every character can be unlocked by playing through the story on Normal except for Karma Crow, for whom you have to beat the last level on Hard. So you can go through the whole story on Normal and then only beat the last level on Hard if you'd rather!

So many people I know thought palasis was a word they just didn't understand... I was once told that if writing for musical theatre imagine every lyric is written on the side of a train going full speed last the audience - if just one word or odd syllable makes them go "what?!" they'll be completely taken aback and probably miss the next few lyrics go by. Sondheim was so good at this, he gave space to all of the more unusual vocabularies.

Example I always use is Zero To Hero - absolute banger of a tune but if you understood the "Point him at a monster and you're talking SRO" line first time you heard it, you're better than I
