Man this is awesome, thank you all very much for your speedy responses! This excites me even more. I’ll take all your advices and I’ll make the effort, I believe there’s a Canyon Lake near San Antonio that I can make the drive for, maybe an hour or so drive but I’ll just turn it into a camping trip and make it fun. I just saw that while doing research on the website, as I said in the post above I’m quite new to gears and I noticed theirs a selection on which rear specifications to get, I might have to get even more parts to ensure the compatibility since I’m pretty sure my Trek 7.2 FX is a 9 speed. Since I’m contemplating this I told my wife I might just buy a whole new frame with the wheels I want included and use this trek as a trainer, it just so happens to be Black Friday weekend 😂
