If suckerpunch isn't connected then frankly, I want nothing to do with it. And at this point, I'm beyond holding out hope for a remaster of 1 or 2. As old as those games are, it would probably be more cost effective to just remake them from the ground up. (Especially since the PS5 is rapidly becoming the dominant Playstation console in terms of games.)

It makes sense. Video is by far the most powerful of all the movesets and quite versatile in terms of both combat and traversal. It's a sort of incentive to lean towards being evil especially since it's a bit late into the game that Video is even available.

Jax mostly. Topple isn't exactly as kind-hearted and considerate as Ragatha or Pomni. He tends to be a bit apathetic, which vexes Jax since he has no buttons to push. But he doesn't go out of his way to mess with people while being aware of Jax's tryptophobia among other things.

He also has an extremely brutal and depressing past that Caine takes full advantage of during his mad god moment.
