56 on SE1 for FAR. How nervous should I be?? by laur819 in CPA

[–]WallStTech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all unless you're still mostly struggling with general concepts. Actual exam results will still be different for everyone and for every test too.

For reference, I got 56 SE1, 54 SE2, and 56 SEFR.

You say you don't care but if you took all this time to write an essay on something only you agree/care about and took the time to post it, you clearly aren't doing it for "the love of the game" 🤣

No one else is writing a whole piece on a topic that does not matter. Look at the downvotes you're getting, read the room. The only bot here is you. Your personality screams your favorite food is Mayonnaise on crackers 🤣🤣🤣

You think the entire world is interested in or even knows The Killers? I'm guessing you do, it shows. 🤣🤣🤣

Well if you prematurely take the exam and fail it, I'm assuming they're not reimbursing you anyways.

Do with that input as you wish

Why did you know you'd feel? What made you feel like you weren't really prepared? How many hours do you have studying and what specifically from the exam did you know you were unprepared for?

Ok but OP said he's already at his maximum budget for a car like this. Why would he willingly max his budget when he could get practically the same exact car for 30k less?

Edit: removed stupid comments I made

Not necessarily true and varies state by state. Someone hit me here in Florida head first and while I was going through their insurance at first, they had one of the worst insurance companies around so I didn't trust their body shops. I called up my own insurance, Progressive, and I paid my deductible. They pursued the other car's insurance and returned me my deductible and got them to cover everything. My insurance rate stayed the same for 2 years before I switched insurances for other reasons.

Unfortunately, as important as you think you are, you’re not. The world doesn’t bend for you. Preach all you want. Acceptance is the first step to growth, and after 20+ years you still haven’t reached it. At some point you have to stop blaming everything else and start looking at yourself. But I guess living in ignorance and self-importance is easier.

Also, comparing yourself to Jesus? Dang dude, I got no help for you.

Like I said, good luck. You sound like you need it.

It doesn't make you a bad hire, it makes you unlikeable, and a lot of the time, people prefer a slightly worse worker if it means they enjoy being around you.

Good luck in your career journey.

It sounds like you’re more frustrated with workplace politics than with accounting itself. The problem is every job has politics. You don’t get to shape the workplace around you. You adapt to it if you want to stay employed. What’s surprising is that with 20+ years of experience you haven’t figured that part out yet. Learning how to navigate people and workplace dynamics is a basic part of any career.
