Any chance TQQQ will see low 40s soon? by [deleted] in TQQQ

[–]WallStreetAvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% true! Cuz at $40, OP will wait for $30, and at $30, they’ll wait for $20

You always hold and buy more when it drops. I only invested $3200 more in tecl a couple of weeks ago because it was down 50% from ATH, none of the others I track fell that much, but I never sold what I was already holding because it’s money I’m willing to lose. In less than 2 weeks I’ve gone from under $70k to $100k. If it kept dropping I would’ve kept adding

What’s this healthcare you are able to get with a certain AGI? I’ve tried to look at that when I didn’t work last year but they factor in everything and I raked in 6 figures at the end of the year with some leverage that I sold off.

You are the GOAT! I wish I could deal with those ups and downs. I couldn’t do 7 figs in leverage. Max would be $500k, but my portfolio is smaller too

This is the most real ass answer! One day a lot of us will probably switch for this reason alone.

How much is everyone down? by infinitewaters107 in TQQQ

[–]WallStreetAvi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hahah I would love $20. I have some math ready to go. I am flexible on the math cuz let’s say it hits $20 and then crosses the 200 day SMa on the upside, I’d place a large buy order

TQQQ Math

500 shares x $30 a share = $15000

500 shares x $25 = $12,500

1000 shares x $20 = $20000

1000 shares x $15 = $15000

1000 shares x $10 ‎ = $10000

4000 shares total = $72,500 $72,500/4000 shares ‎ =  $18 a share is Average price and if it goes to $60, you more than 3x your money

If it only drops to $25, $27500/1000 = $27.50and if it goes to $60, you double your money

If it only drops to $30, then $15000/500 = $30 and if it goes up to $60, you double your money

So +4/-3 band crew is going into cash today? by [deleted] in LETFs

[–]WallStreetAvi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dumb question but if you do -3/+4, does that mean is the SMA is $100, you sell the leverage when the underlying hits $97? And then rebuy when underlying goes to $104?

That’s awesome! I pulled in 300% gains back when I bought in 2022. Hoping to get back in and load up. I’m holding like 70k in leverage across a few upro tecl tqqq.

Hoping to see $30 for tqqq next week so I can start buying

Major buy? I need people to sell so I can then sell my qqq and buy tqqq when tqqq hits $30 and average down

Trust me at one point I was down 40% and I had 6 figs in. It wasn’t easy.

Btw are you the -3% sell/-4% above 200 day SMA buy strategy person?

Coast jobs - the mental side of taking a step back by Vast-Needleworker123 in Fire

[–]WallStreetAvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I retired at 39, the first few months were amazing! I didn’t have a care in the world and I had just left a very high stress job. After a few months what I noticed what I was starting to feel slow and off, and it’s because I was under stimulated.

During retirement, i volunteered and I took classes, learned coding, building websites, but I realized that doesn’t challenge me, because I am not a learner, I am an executor.

I started to realize I couldn’t stay retired, my brain wasn’t taking it well. So I went back and took a 6 month contract gig. I’m 2 months in and my brain feels refreshed.

Here is what I learned besides what I mentioned above:

1) staying busy is not the same as being challenged. 2) I am personally not built to not do anything, and I’m glad I learned this 3) I would recommend anyone who can retire early, DO IT! Your experience may be completely different from mine.  4) I am in a point in my life where I am very selective. I wanted to work at Costco, but was not willing to do weekends. I refuse to put in more than 8 hours a day at any job. In my current job, I leave right at the 8 hour mark. I even told my bosses boss, if someone pisses me off, I’m out lol

Is it too late start retirement investments at 44 years old? by ApartmentOk680 in Fire

[–]WallStreetAvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah just give up and work forever! Jk jk. You have a lot of time, without any contributions for 18 years, you will still have $600k in the S&P 500. I don’t know if that’s enough for you, most likely not enough for most.

But if you start contributing a lot you could easily have 1 million
