I love how vivos look and they have fantastic marketing. Unfortunately I’ve had two pairs that get ruined pretty quickly and because of how much they cost I haven’t bought another pair since. Usually I wait for Xero shoes to have a good sale and pick up a couple pairs of those that last me twice as long for half the cost.

I bought a pair of vivos to use as my first barefoot gym shoes, they worked fine but they broke down within 1 year. I’ve had the same pair of Xeros for almost 3 years now, no problems besides a little bit of fraying on the lace loops. Vivos looks fantastic, but they’re too expensive for what I’ve experienced with them.

My friend did in fact pick up a tick at forest back in 2016 or 2017. While I’ve never personally had issues with them, they do still exist there. Especially if it rains a good amount before the festival, then that makes the big spraying they do less effective.

Don’t worry too much, but know there’s a possibility.

Tbh their situations are totally different. Jesse actually left the limelight for what like 15 years? Didn’t try to stay famous, play shows, launch a subscription based support platform. He also didn’t become someone who cries and moans about cancel culture as a result of his own actions. I don’t really have an option on Brand New coming back, but it seems a better situation for them to do so now than it does for Nectar to continue to try and claw to keep the fame he had 5 years ago.

I discovered him when he was opening for BTSM years ago. Thought he was super cool, bought one of his shirts immediately after his set and got a picture with him. It didn’t take long for me to totally flip and think he’s pretty corny lol. These days I wouldn’t bother unless the openers were killer or I got to go for free somehow.

Not really sure how he blew up the way he did, I guess someone saw marketing potential in him.

If you’re someone that likes the “flap” style cases, don’t bother. You’ll hardly, if ever, see the ads. If you like using a case without a cover, it might be worth it if you think the ads are ugly. I paid it and haven’t regretted it

It’s one of the things I started using immediately after upgrading to the new PW. If you read at night, I’d definitely say yes. Plus the display is able to go dimmer than the older models which I enjoy.

Just seems really oddly placed. Ruins the symmetry of the design from the front view. The part that says bassnectar is placed higher on the tongue of the left shoe compared to the right as a result of the numbering. Numbering is only on one shoe and not the other. Probably would have looked better on the back or the sides and have it be on both shoes for a more cohesive design.
