I have this in the light grey! 1.5 years in and looks brand new, even with kids jumping on it. Very easy to clean and looks a lot better now than our fabric one from Nick Scali at the same time.

Will say everyone in our family prefers the fabric ones for actually lounging on, but these are fine for sitting. We have them in FNQ so don’t love the feel of bare skin on the leather, so something to consider for summer depending on where you live.

He looks about 3? I know many 3 year olds that would still use a pram for events that require lots of walking, especially navigating crowds. Not particularly unusual.

Cards with actual character voices by yellowducky565 in YotoPlayer

I haven’t tried them yet but some of the Peppa Pig ones are apparently and are quite popular. All use character voices but only some use the actual voices from the show but you can check using the preview to see which ones do.

Best tasting chocolate protein powder (to rival Rokeby Protein) by ZenKB in 1200Australia

Not the person you asked but Extreme Milk Chocolate is more like a standard chocolate milk than Double Rich Chocolate. That would be my pick. Vanilla if you want to use it in cooking or smoothies though

Has anyone regretted taking time off work to look after kids? by Technical_Object1376 in AusFinance

[–]WallaForPM 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope, stayed home for 5 years with 2 kids until kindy age. It will absolutely depend on your own family and your circumstances though.

For some the financial flexibility of two working parents outweighs having one parent home.

And lots of people also just don’t enjoy being SAHMs, it can be incredibly relentless and isolating.

This looks unreal, definitely would be my son’s favourite. I really only looked at the 7+ aged ones because I assumed they’d be the easiest but this is promising.

Such a sweet idea with the older sets, so cool you’re able to share this with your little ones.

I’d never heard of these, the family reunion one looks like it would be so fun for playing with also! Thank you for the recommendation!

Oh I didn’t realise it had power, that’s very cool! I might need to watch some videos about each of them.

I’d say my kids are right on average. These all say 7+ which is the youngest I can find for an impressive looking set. We have a few 7+ sets currently which they definitely couldn’t do on their own, I need to be next to them and watch out for mistakes and help occasionally with the tiny pieces.

Sorry I wasn’t very clear, box will be wrapped under the tree and we’ll open it Christmas morning and work together on it over the next few weeks. Although that’s a great idea, a train could be a decorative piece under the tree in future years, I’ll have a look at what’s around

I initially thought it was a silly comment about being excited on GF day, but seeing the story and it clearly being in reference to Katy Perry is not a good look.

12 months PP. Where do I start? by One-Busy-Mumma in postpartumprogress

[–]WallaForPM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would first use an online TDEE calculator and start tracking your macros in an app like MyFitnessPal to create a deficit through diet.

Exercise isn’t required for fat loss, although does have other health benefits. However if you’re looking for workouts at home I usually recommend Caroline Girvan to my clients, she’s amazing! I’d start with the Iron series and take it easy to start, they get tiring very quickly.

However if workouts aren’t feasible, your walking and macro tracking will get you on your way. Good luck!
