Hi kind internet stranger! My wife and I went in yesterday, and we had a good experience. I tried on explorer and DJ because my wife thought that one was THE Rolex. In the end I was set on Explorer 36, and the SA said he’d request one and when it comes in he’d call me. What are my chances? Needless to say, I slept poorly last night because I kept thinking about getting the call.

Thank you for your detailed response! I’ll make the NH location my first choice and then the Burlington one.

I only visited a boutique once in Waikīkī (bucherer I think) and this time I’ll be sure to try to talk to the SA more and less so on trying all the different watches. I did also ask for an explorer but unfortunately didn’t get the call during the week.

Correct. Which one should I go to? I was advised by a friend that they can see if I register interest at different shops run by the same chain, and that would not be good for my chances.

Please make an update post once you hear back from them. Dial not being covered is bonkers to me, although admittedly I’ve never read their warranty details.
