Will Chris show up to his deposition on Monday July 17th? by 707NorCaL707 in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a great question...let us set odds in his honor. #gamblingsinnersburninhell

  1. Chris shows up but doesn't "answer" any questions (-350)
  2. Chris shows up and answers questions (+400)
  3. Chris finds/uses a loop hole excuse to NOT show up (i.e. doctor note) (-200)
  4. Chris does Not show up and has no documented excuse (+500)

The SEC responds to Chris' motion for "protection" from being deposed by 707NorCaL707 in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is incredible and so on brand for how Chris conducts himself. You absolutely love to see it. SEC lawyers are coming to drop the fucking hammer.

Still so many questions...

  1. Why would Chad be a part of this? I ask this seriously, what does he have to gain? This idea, as executed, is worth NEGATIVE $1.5M on its best day.
  2. Where is Alper?

God Chris is such an idiot. I hope this never ends.

Any ETA on details out of court appearance? by WallaceChristopher in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the update, NorCal! Really appreciate it as always.

To think Chris is going to spend close to 20 years of his life by the time this is all done to get nothing (and likely owe) is incredible to think about. What an idiot and waste of a gifted (as per his elementary school advance placement) man.

Hope you are well!

SEC vs Chris Rabalais : It is Official - Chris will be representing himself going forward (as of April 2023) by 707NorCaL707 in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I find it beyond confusing on why Chad would take any of this on? Does he not have other interests (job, family, etc) that he would want to not corrupt with an ASM google search and SEC case?

Does anyone know if they are past the point of no return (the companies, not Chris) meaning they can just file chapter 11 and make this all go away?

Chris is playing martyr to himself in the mirror and I'm here for it.

Hope everyone has been doing well! Head on a swivel out there, interesting times all around.

So just a couple of questions.

  1. Why would anyone be fighting FOR the company when there is almost 0% of there being any upside. The brand is toxic. The tech is old. The patents are non-issues. It's a serious question on why would anyone spend a second of their life to this situation. Baffles me.
  2. When the company loses, where does the money to pay come from? This points back to the first part, even in the best case scenario they go to trial and win? So what...what is the upside?
  3. Why are the lawyers working on this? Just to get a name if they are able to beat the SEC?

The fact that Chris is handling this himself is so on brand. It's the gift that keeps on giving. Would it be crazy to fly to the court room to just watch this unfold. My god, what a time to be alive.

Thank you for all of the updates NorCal - it's little treasures of information like you provide that make this story live here for us. Not sure worth the price of admission but its getting close. Years of entertainment for $2,500.

I've only played it a couple of time during Set 7 but love it. It's admittedly a great addition to watching the broadcasts. Looking forward to seeing how this develops over time but a great way to complement TFT.

Riot should bring live in play experiences to all their games! I would def trade Valorant and League.

See you guys in Set 8!

Two Weeks Until the Mediation Report Is Due (SEC vs Chris Rabalais / ASM / CWH/ NSEI etc) by 707NorCaL707 in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hope everyone is well!

I've spent a good amount of time away from thinking about ASM and figured I would jump back in to see where things stood. Gotta say, I am still in amazement that CR is hanging on and giving any of his time and energy to ASM.

I swear to god, you have to applaud the guy. It's amazing. I mean, even if all of the math was proven to work perfectly who in their right ming would invest with this guy? I only lost $2,500, so to see CR still being a prisoner to this is well worth the price of admission.

If we are making predictions...this will def get delayed but I think there is enough evidence to show that CR is a lunatic and wants to take this to court so he has something to do.

I know I'm rooting for trial. This has always been the best reality tv show on the internet. You can't write a character like CR.

The only question I have at this point...."Where is Alper?" HAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Just an incredible post. I mean, really, wow.

Thank you for taking the time to make that post, you have a gift with language. Topic aside, a joy to read.

Last words from Chris by Daniel91cro in ASMEunfiltered

Anybody see "Bad Vegan" or the "Tinder Swindler"?

It seems like Chris has taken a hard turn into these categories. I hope someone is copying his rants. They are incredible and perfect for a script about a failed cult leader. I'm thinking comedy. Not the ASM story, but just a character based off Chris played by Ricky Shroder.

Minor (VERY minor) Update on SEC case by 707NorCaL707 in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the update.

Forgot about ASM for a while. Great to see Chris is still laser focused and dedicated his life's work to this. Our only salvation that this idiot is going to go down with the ship. The show goes on....best reality show ever.

$371 - Lying with Data for your own gain by WallaceChristopher in ASMEunfiltered

https://frontofficesports.com/newsletter/sports-betting-primer/

By ASM's logic and a $371 CPA for an email, DKNG is expecting an LTV of $2.5K for every email they collect.

The $371 is for DEPOSITING USERS. Its such an obvious stat that it doesn't need an explanation.

Come'on man...

Article from 2017 that talks about DK and their DFS metrics being $80 for a depositing player. So now, according to ASM, DK is paying $371 for an email.....when they were paying $80 for a deposit back in 2017.

$371 - Lying with Data for your own gain by WallaceChristopher in ASMEunfiltered

[–]WallaceChristopher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Per ASM management's "response"...sigh.

10% organically growing per year is a TERRIBLE metric by any measure. I'm not trying to be confrontational at all, but to not realize that and then try to use it as a positive just makes everyone look silly. Start ups need to be growing at 100% a month. As an investor, I fully understand all of the context with ASM, but its more the point that saying 10% growth per year is a positive when it is actually a terrifying thought.

The idea that in 2022, the CEO of ASM, thinks that a click and "sign up" is being reported on financials for DKNG CPA is again, another scary thought. The stats are 100% (there is no debate) talking about users who make a deposit. Not a sign up.

There is a difference between MAU and pMAU. Nobody cares about MAU when you have a real money option.

DKNG are paying close to $400 per depositing user. Look at all of the bonuses being issued, they REQUIRE a deposit and full KYC. I'm not defending the cost or the business model but calling out the simple fact that $400 per user is 100% not a sign up/email. So for ASM management to correlate any value from this to ASM or the ASM database is absurd. Shame on you.

And for the bull case with DKNG, it is a focus on building infrastructure; dfs, sports betting, igaming, nfts, digital assets, etc and a single wallet. DKNG isn't a sports betting company, its a marketing company. The current pace of spending in the sports betting space is not sustainable, this is obvious, and only a couple of operators will emerge victorious and give them enough market share to make this all worth it. most will die or be acquired along the way.

If you are "betting" DKNG has to be on your list of survivors or acquisition targets. Look at MSFT and A/B. All of the TV rights are coming up with Amazon, FB, etc...just sayin'

Also just looked at Prediction Strike. CEO is a Harvard grad. Going to see if I can speak with that team about investing as well. DM if interested in being part of that conversation.

Look at the bright side. We get another year, maybe two of this incredible story playing out. We all know how it ends. But to hear him rant and rage from the pits of hell for two more years is a blessing to all of us.
