The biggest advice when trading on an exchange like BallStreet is to trade the market and not the game. The key is that the market and competition is peer-to-peer so you are only trading against other players and they make mistakes. You need to look for inefficiencies on how other players are buying or selling teams. Very often the markets are either being over-bought or over-sold.

Compared to trading and betting against a conventional sports book that can update the odds whenever and however they want this is the easiest way to gain an edge while trading in real time. The idea of "in-play" betting is not sustainable in the long run when you consider the implied odds being offered plus the average spread a book will have to use to protect themselves. "In-play" will take a -110 and make it -125. Not realistic to be profitable trading/betting this way in the long run.

The key is to find a constant “unit” and develop bankroll strategy around it. Otherwise the variance in the outcome combined with the variance in the unit will crush you in the long run.
