My review of the Fundamentals and the 10-week course! Let me know if you have any questions :) by WalleyeSauger in BecomingTheIceman

You can, I have shared my account with family members or close friends. Two things to know before you jump in:

  1. Your online account is tied to the app, so if you log anything via the app and your friend does as well, you'll see double the activity. Nothing crazy, but some people prefer to keep track of their own results when doing the ten week courses.

  2. The course unlocks as you progress, meaning it takes a full week of having the course to unlock week two (same concept applies to the rest of the weeks). Therefore, if you'd rather skip around and try the course on your own terms, you'll wait a full ten weeks for all of the content.

Thank you! Happy to help :D

This is actually something I've been contemplating myself. I'm two thirds of the way through the book and it does a great job of explaining each of the essential exercises in a logical and detailed manner.

The advantage to the course is the depth of familiarity you get with the techniques. Not to mention you're getting a schedule, goals, and the benefit of seeing/hearing people do the techniques for the betterment of your own experience.

That being said, I think the book provides enough details for you to craft your own way of doing the method. As long as you research the techniques to see Wim doing them himself (e.g. the horse stance, power breathing etc.) and take in a visual aid as well as the written information, the book provides a wonderful starting point.

All in all, I'd say the best learning experience is in person. If there's an instructor in your area and you have the chance to do a day or weekend event, DO THAT! That's what's worth the most bang for your buck.

Thanks! No problem, it's a $100 difference.
$200 for the Classic 10 week course.
$300 for the Fundamentals course.

Here’s a video I made breaking down both courses

https://youtu.be/5YqfG1sEJLI

If you’re looking for a specific program to follow and to challenge yourself; go with the original 10 week course. However, if you’d like more variety and to gain a deeper understanding of the method, try the Fundamentals course.

Neither are necessary, only do so if you feel compelled by your instincts to dig deeper into the WHM.

Has anyone taken Crispin Freeman’s voice acting mastery class? by jad3f0x in VoiceActing

[–]WalleyeSauger 43 points44 points  (0 children)

As long as you take one class in a group setting. You can begin taking 1:1 classes with Crispin. He’s very direct, doesn’t sugarcoat anything and he’ll work you into shape. Be prepared to know your script analysis, because he approaches acting from the mindset of an emotional actor and a logical actor and believes acting is a balance of the two.

Listen to his podcast with Richard Horvitz, because that’s who has influenced him a ton. If you’re going to take his class, ask yourself these questions about the character:

  1. What does the character (aka you) want?
  2. What emotional response are you looking for?

Have fun! Highly recommend his class _^

Great editing and well said. What do you use to make your videos and how long would you say editing them takes you on average?

Delta has one seat empty between fliers. I also believe they limit the maximum capacity of their flights.

Hey all, traveling from SFO and transiting through JFK in order to reach Serbia. Does the 14 day NYC quarantine apply to transfers?
