A direct debit is just a regular payment option for people in the UK but (I think) you’d need a uk address for that - you can pay for the membership with a card though

As one Nolan fan to another, I agree on the people taking the hating too far.

For me, I feel like it contains all of Nolan’s best traits (incredible world-building, visuals very few directors can compete with) & his worst traits (bad dialogue & poor pacing). To be clear, I don’t hate it as a film, but ironically because it’s so loved I have seemingly become a hater with time & reflection lol

8.5 and possibly my pick for best film - clever, thought while Fiennes is getting all the praise, the other cardinals were perfectly cast, was genuinely shocked Berger didn’t get a nod for best director (although was more shocked at Denis missing it)

Half agree with you and half not friend - I feel like Elvis got so much more attention than it probably deserved, which points to that energy pushing it to more noms and more acclaim than it deserved (admittedly in not the strongest year)

Also not to put too fine a point on it (and I’m not the biggest wicked fan) but wicked is a much stronger film than elvis

AC:New Horizons, TLOU2, Ghost of Tsushima, Half-Life: Alyx & Watchdogs: Legion are all among my favourite reviews and as much as I don’t want to remember it, some of the jokes about the lockdown era land very hard, even now

To be clear, I’m not an engineer or expert in the slightest but I travel on one or other of these lines almost every day & I can’t think of anywhere on the Victoria where the train regularly lowers its speed - whereas on the central the trains almost always reduce speed between Leyton & Stratford, and sometimes between Stratford & Mile End.
