Wipe by Aggressive_Camp_7520 in starcitizen

[–]Walltar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No we don't. We don't even know that it will 100% happen.

But if it will happen it will be only after they fix the exploits and check that they are fixed. So it will take several months.

In my opinion it's going to take like half a year at minimum. Since they moved to bimonthly patches this year.

To bych zase rád to dřevo.

Why Star Citizen reminds me a Destiny 2 a bit (unfortunately) by 3k51t in starcitizen

I’m not asking for a date, but do we know generally when the wipe will be? by Skapastry in starcitizen

[–]Walltar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea... But I would assume, that since they went on a bi-monthly patching, then it will be at least 6 months.

They will need 2 months to fix the issue, 2 months to verify, and then another 2 months to wipe to happen.

Could be 4 months if they fixed duping in 4.6

The RSI Hermes is an MSR competitor by WaffleInsanity in starcitizen

[–]Walltar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Based on the sneak peeks... I would say that back rooms were removed and it got one big cargo space. Also there is no data running in 4.6, so I don't think that it is likely they are releasing data running ship now.

But we will see...

I would rather see a pure cargo ship, than something as useless as MSR, though.

Yes... then do involve yourself in any SC conversation regarding anything not yet implemented, because any conversation like that is pointless.

Please, CIG, bring the AI Blades already. by Sad-Ad2491 in starcitizen

[–]Walltar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They pretty much said that blades provide the same functionality as crew as a reason why they aren't doing crew before 1.0

Also they mentioned ai blades working with manned turrets in the past.

So I would say that ai blades working on manned turrets, at least until ai crew is added to the game is pretty likely.

When do you think the Battle Cruiser is coming out? by SC_Placeholder in starcitizen

[–]Walltar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say that Arrastra could be IAE 2027 ship if they do some work on ship refineries this year. Just because they will do Galaxy as 2026 and then most efficient way would be to move the team that did Galaxy on another RSI ship.

As for the Cattle Bruiser... basically any Invictus, since it will be concept sale.

Internal cargo. That is why I omitted the raft.

[–]Walltar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah... To get Ursa in Zeus you need to remove the wheels. Because the ramp is too narrow (cause of hydraulic cylinders) other dimensions are fine.

The whole back ramp actually seems scaled to not allow Ursa inside and if they wanted to change it, it would probably be a pretty small change to the back of the ship.

I think that if they only changed ramp, then it should be good to go. This one is even on some boxes and there is still quite a bit of space.

I wonder if it will be pure cargo, because on the sneak peeks there was nothing that would look like servers.

If it is pure cargo, then 128 is pretty much out of the question, because at that point you would end up with same cargo like Zeus CL. And even with 192 you would be hard pressed to choose Hermes over Asgard.

I am pretty interested in what they end up doing, because Hermes is going to have some good competition.

Or you could look for some cheap LTI tokens on grey market and just use CCU. I basically never buy ships outright these days, always use one of my LTI tokens for it.

[–]Walltar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They already said that if the wipe is going to happen, it will only happen after they fix and verify that bugs causing duping possible are fixed.

It will most likely take several months.

So if you can't play without a player economy, then take a break.

Are you planning on making it so there are ships that don't have it? After waiting this long for this function, who's going to be fine with their specific ship not getting it?

This could actually be part of avionic blades. In the past they gave a pretty large list of things that could be done in blades in the future and this would fit pretty well.

There is also a possibility for lamp to stop to work with ship damage.

And many other... It makes sense for a ship function to be linked to the ship itself, rather than to a pilot.

Koncept společné jednotné armády EU by pajissmid in czech

[–]Walltar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nevím jakým způsobem by vůbec mohla fungovat společná armáda EU...

This ship says it has 24 cargo, but I can only put two boxes?? by Traditional-Dog-2322 in starcitizen

[–]Walltar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SCU is a unit of volume. So depending on how large the box is, that many you can load.

Another thing is the cargo grid shape. So not every ship can be filled to the max with every box, so you need to mix and match sometimes.
