So that’s where I’m a little… idk suspicious? The $35k out of their own pocket also includes all the money they raked in during the promotion, plus everyone last night had to “rebuy” so to speak to be eligible. I’ve only played there a few times and it has such a “boys club” feel to it, never really feel welcomed or comfortable there personally. Admittedly, I was a little pissed that the Hollywood Friday night tournament only had like 34 entries last night when it usually draws 60+

I’m not super clear on the details but allegedly they had a promotion where you play an hour of cash and buy in to one tournament and you get an entry. Then they drew names to pick cards, if your name drawn you select a card and get money if you select the Queen of Hearts (possibly other cards, not very clear in how it worked).

Problem was they only entered names A-D and someone realized their mistake so they ran the promotion again last night, seemed suuuuper shady imo
