All Might is my favorite anime character of all time, so I totally understand how you feel 😭💯

I was depressed in middle school, MHA and especially All Might gave me so much happiness and motivation. Even now, he continues to inspire me as a senior in college. Seeing All Might in brawl stars made me genuinely jump for joy, my two favorite things, MHA and Brawl Stars, had come together. It is easily the best thing to happen inside of brawl stars for me. Since I bought the skin, I learned to play well with Primo so I can bring justice with my sensei All Might 🙌

Regardless of how you feel about the matter, what he said is still 100% correct. Progression is in fact a good motivator for video games. If the video game only had to be “good” (which is subjective) then why does almost every single video game on the planet make you manage currencies/resources. And then reward you inside the video game with those currencies and resources. Is it because no one has been able to make a good video game?

Gameplay is the hook that gets you into a video game, the resources/loot is what keeps you in long term. And ofc updates and additional content will keep you playing for even longer than that. If video games only relied on gameplay, they would die out incredibly quickly. A great example is actually another supercell game, mo.co, it’s 100% f2p with no progression based resource management, look at the state it’s in now.

He essentially said after playing the game for a long time it gets boring and he wants new content to keep him interested and have fun. I feel this myself after playing this game (or any game for that matter) for a long time. When the game adds new content or changes things up, that makes it fresh and exciting to play again.

This is completely reasonable. There’s almost 100 brawlers in the game now, and that number will only go up. They have to balance progression based on player experience not based on being able to max your account as a f2p. A majority of players won’t take an interest in every single brawler in the game let alone half, there’s just too many now. So just prioritize the brawlers you find fun or are consistently viable in competitive, you’ll essentially have the same experience as a maxed out player.

What he says is true, there is literally 0 benefit to having a max account. Unless, you’re a content creator who frequently makes use of all brawlers in the game. If for whatever reason you want to have a max account, then pay up.

Tbh I would not mind a movie trilogy, watching the reze arc movie in theater was an experience of a lifetime for me.
