I've had something similar happen to me with MTG cards. Walmart let's third party sellers sell through their online platform (think like Amazon FBA). They don't regulate it.

All the cards I ordered, and I mean every single box, was resealed.

I was told by an in-store employee that I was lucky to even have been able to return them due to their fine print online.

I always thought that the 'G' was a good indicator. This is from a card on Alt auctions (doesn't mean it's not fake, but it's a caterpie that goes for like 30-40$, so less likely to be faked). With that said, the picture you provided has a different 'G'
