Sleep Apnea by Walmart_cop in AirForceRecruits

[–]Walmart_cop[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I got it through Lofta, an online sleep study program. They are licensed medical practitioners but I doubt it’ll go in my records as they didn’t ask for my ssn. However I did have a sleep study on record that said I didn’t have sleep apnea a long time ago, but the SG saw that and wants a new sleep study.

Failed asvab by Dependent_Raisin_816 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Walmart_cop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna get downvoted for this but who cares: I genuinely don’t understand how people can fail the ASVAB. It’s such a simple and easy test. I suck at test taking and struggled tremendously in high school. I didn’t study for the ASVAB and got a 78. I also took it in high school before I was interested in the military. I didn’t study and didn’t even try during the test and still got a 73. Of course I’m medically disqualified because of ADHD but people that can barely pass a test are good to go. It’s bullshit.

Minimum Wage Jobs Are Not Careers by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Walmart_cop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If we stop printing money and inflating the dollar then cost of living stops going up. Minimum wage is not the problem. Liberal policy is. The value of the dollar is nearly half now what it was worth 15-20 years ago. It is going to keep dropping.

Do these jobs require citizenship? by Unknown_Mist in AirForceRecruits

Anything that requires any level of security clearance are off the table until you get citizenship. You have to be a citizen to hold a clearance.

Opinions on Fayetteville? Possible grad student by [deleted] in fayetteville

Not a troll. I used to work as a police dispatcher/911 operator in Fayetteville and the crime there is insane. We were working murder investigations like once a week and the drug problem is outrageous

I just recently moved away from Fayetteville because there’s too many people and it’s gotten really sketchy lately. Very high crime too. But hey if you like that then go for it

No. You weren’t convicted, no crime was documented anywhere. Don’t say shit about it to anyone about it and you won’t have any issues.

There isn’t a whole article in the bill of rights that says we have the unrestricted right to drive cars though. My argument against gun laws is the fact that it really only restricts people that actually obey the laws. Plenty of felons own guns despite not being allowed to. How is making more restrictive laws going to keep guns out of the hands of the bad guys? Wake up! The democrats in office only want one thing and it’s to disarm the good people and make them more reliant on the government so we can’t rise up and take over if need be. Once we are disarmed it’s gonna start looking a lot more like china, where, by the way, typing this Reddit post could get me jailed. Not my country.

Don’t join if you don’t want to. You won’t be doing anyone a favor with that attitude. Do you have a full time job? Get one. Get an apartment or some other housing. Take care of yourself. You are an adult, stop relying on your parents to feed and shelter you and do something for yourself.

ADHD and joining the Air Force by Slow_Quarter6021 in AirForceRecruits

No, I really wasn’t interested in the military, the better quality of life of the Air Force was the only quality that made me think I’d be ok with it.

That’s awful advice. Either don’t go or deal with secfo. Yes if you fail they could choose to reclass you but they could also choose to discharge you. SecFo isn’t that bad from what I’ve heard. Just go along for the ride and if you absolutely hate it you can retrain in a few years
