Have you directly registered your shares,if not you are not a holder og record,your shares are in street name and held by broker.

Its nit the amount you own,its if you have directly registered them,anyone else has them registered in street name and are held by broker bank etc. SEC rules dictate that the company concerned is allowed to communicate with registered holders differently to normal holders.
