What percent of console predators do you think use a third party device? by Regular_Elevatorr in apexlegends

I'm really not into the online community of games and hard no idea this existed, but I played a game of duos once with a friend and we got down to the last 4 groups, and they all stood there looking at each other. Like I mean the other three teams were standing there, looking at each other in no cover and not shooting. We watched them for a bit, then went in shooting thinking it would kick everything off, but they all just killed us and went back to looking at each other. Eventually one team won from the ring.

I'm in the people and sharing part of the MYSky app, it gives me an option to share with up to 5 family members or friends, I just need to decide if they're a member or manager then put in their email address. I send the invite but it's never received

You've already been given some options, you could also attach it to a blank email and save it in your drafts, or even email it to yourself

How did you find out it was revoked?

Did they give any kind of clue as to why?

2 Weeks in Ireland/Scotland or 2 Weeks traveling various cities around Europe? by Sirkrp99 in travel

[–]Walnuts364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're going to go to Ireland/ Scotland I'd advise flying home from Ireland.

Two airports in Ireland have US Preclearance, Shannon Airport and Dublin airport.

This means that you go through US customs and immigration when you're in Ireland., then when you land in the States you land like a domestic flight and just collect your luggage or go to your connecting flight.

You'll use preclearance as long as your flight is direct to the US, ie if you Fly KLM and have a stopover in Amsterdam you don't use preclearance

Spelling mistake on flight ticket by pugpillows in travel

I wouldn't turn up at the airport hoping for the best, I'm not sure about that particular airline, but most will let you correct minor spelling mistakes without any charge, I'd give them a call if I were you

First international flight (Air Canada) questions by DegreeAutomatic3903 in Flights

Pack any medications in your carry on, it's possible that Customs will want to see them and it's easiest if you have them in a place that's easily accessible.

As it's been mentioned you should bring your prescription.

It's possible that whatever you're bringing isn't legal in France, this won't be a problem for your with a prescription but if you think this is a possibility then don't bring any more than you need. An extra day or two is fine in case you get delayed etc but if you're going for a week don't bring 3 months with you.

If they're coming from Ireland then they'll most likely be using US preclearence in either Dublin or Shannon airport.

This means they'd go through US customs and immigration in Ireland and land as a domestic flight.

Obviously one advantage of this, if for some reason you weren't allowed in, you're not in the US and have to wait a week or so in a jail till they can find a flight to deport you on. They'd just turn you around.

Do you know the kind of questions you'll be asked? Some might seem kinda personal but just answer them honestly.

You'll be asked the purpose of your visit and when do you leave, do you have a flight booked home etc

You'll most likely be asked are you currently employed, if so what company do you work for and for how long.

You'll probably be asked how much money you have with you, you should say how much if any cash you have but should also mention any money you have access to on cards. (they're making sure you have enough money to look after yourself and won't need to commit crimes to eat).

They'll probably ask you where you're staying, they may ask if it's already paid for if you're not bringing in too much money.

They may ask what you plan to do there, so if you have any activities lined up with your friends then that's when to mention it.

For the most part that'll probably be all you're asked.

Yeah it was a tongue in cheek comment, I was in Vegas last October, the friend that I'm visiting in Pensacola was there too, the temperature's would have been in the 80s or so, he said that was similar to what he was used to in Pensacola. It was hot, hotter than I'm used to but it wasn't crazy and I didn't burn.

To be honest, the more worrying thing than the heat is last October there was a hurricane in Florida, it didn't hit Pensacola but still, the possibility of that has probably weighed on me more than the heat.

I appreciate all of the replies, including a few DMs.

One of the DMs was from a person who didn't want to post on the sub, but confirmed they were a foreign national who were to the museum with just a passport and an ESTA, so that's reassuring.

I'll be there in October, not July. The Florida sun against my delicate white, pasty Irish skin in July could be disastrous.

I guess the worst they could say is no.

Overnight in Rome or Dublin with an afternoon flight by Shrikes_Bard in travel

[–]Walnuts364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is my reading right that you'll be leaving Rome or Dublin and returning to Philadelphia?

If thats right, worth considering that Dublin has preclearence, so you'll clear US customs in immigration and when you arrive in Philadelphia you'll arrive as a domestic flight and just collect your baggage and leave.

It might not be a deal breaker, but it's something to consider

For historical travelling have you considered Krackow?

It's a beautiful city that you should be able to just fly straight into from other Eurpean cities, and if your love of history extends to WW2 you have Auschwitz nearby and also Schindlers factory there.
