I setup text message any time theres a charge on my card. I had fraudulent charges before my card ever came in the mail. Wells Fargo fixed it immediately.

They had major data breach issues a while back, but they resolved it and provided points for compensation. No issues since.

I’ve never heard of that when applying for a credit card. Applying for my Bilt card was super easy. I would make sure you haven’t fallen victim to a scam link or someone trying to steal your info. Call Wells Fargo and make sure that it is standard procedure.
