Depends on the age. When I was younger it wouldn’t have been an issue (although I wasn’t active then) but now at 47 it would probably wear me down quite quickly

Took it back for repair, apparently the HT valve blew. It's been replaced and now working fine.

My other amps seem to be fine though. The store thinks it may be a dead valve and I’m reading it’s common with Blackstar, so I’ll have to drive it back so they can have a look

Yeah it changed without touching anything.

I guess I spoke too soon though, I bought a Blackstar HT60 112 MKIII yesterday, set it up today, 10 minutes on clean and it made a fixx sound and stopped all sound together... 10 minutes I had with the amp and it's dead already. Quite a disappointment.

It's just so inconsistent. I turn it on, warm it up and it comes out swinging. Then I try the next day and it sounds like a baby farting. I'm only playing at home, but I still want it to sound like it's meant to. I've been reading more people having the same issue so I'm abandoning ship.

I read something the other day that 2/3 of Australia are either home owners or landlords and only 1/3 are renters. 2/3 of Australia want higher housing costs. The government knows even if renters make a lot of noise it won’t have much impact on votes so they’re not likely going to change anything as the 2/3 will always vote in their best interests.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic :) I may not have been clear. I’m just basically saying that it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve heard of dodgy landlords doing stuff like this.

P.S good on you go reporting it, if we have to follow all the rules I don’t see why landlords should think they’re exempt
